Wow this is a very loud alarm system for its size.Great value for your money too.So easy to set up.

The media could not be loaded. This little alarm arrived today as i needed it to put in my garage, i am extremely impressed with this item and the alarm volume will wake the dead, but as my garage is approx 50 yards from my home i decided to see if i could use an extension alarm to put on the outside on the garage as well and i managed to find one on Amazon priced at £12.28 it has twin sirens and 4 flashing LED lights and all i did was to use an old headphone plug and pop it into the socket on the RISWOND alarm and it works extremely well, i have since blocked to two vents on the front of the red siren as it really is to loud so i stuck two plastic discs over the vents and this has quietened it down just right now i have the added advantage of seeing the alarm flash should it be triggered. if you need this add on siren they are on Amazon under the heading12v DC WIRED ALARM STROBE SIREN. You wont be disappointed.

Ordered this alarm to protect my shed. It is small and easy to fit and set up, the alarm volume is good and the remote control easy to use and is small & compact so not bulky when in your pocket. The sensor seems good at detecting movement and the alarm goes off as soon as I walk into the shed which, at ten by four feet, isn’t massive. For the money I don’t have too many complaints however, the alarm itself does not secure to the wall bracket so if someone does break in all they have to do is yank the alarm off the bracket and take the batteries out! Hopefully just an alarm sounding will be enough to scare a thief off but I might have to find some way of preventing that as a ‘just in case’ measure.If this issue was resolved by the manufacturer this little alarm would be worthy of five stars and turn it from a good product into a great one!

It’s worth the money , very loud does the job .

Works well, but if you’re inside a house and this is in your van, it isn’t loud enough to hear easily, especially if you’re on the tools

So. As a self employed decorator with a van full of tools etc, I bought one of these alarms some years back, screwed it to the bulkhead of my van so if anyone opened the doors,or pretty much meaning broke into my van it might deter them when the screeching alarm went off... so one day i was laid on the sofa with my kids, having a lazy Sunday watching movies and lo an behold my van alarm went wild, literally 8ft away from me on the outside of my own home, in broad daylight a pair of Eastern European’s had broke into my van, slid the door and the guy on foot was running down the road to catch up with his mate in the car who shot off an left his pal for dead on our quiet cul de sac.... neighbours had been alerted, one of said neighbours managed to take a picture on his phone of the thieving pair of human waste as they scrabbled to get away an drive off...The device I bought ended up breaking, took a hit from some ladders an brackets broke.. bought another, exactly same as this device but I noted that both remote arming fobs were not very good and the new replacement was worse as the back kept coming off and the battery wasn’t pressed in properly to make connection when I wanted to arm it.... lo and behold that device soon got a whack an again it just broke, fell to bits on impact if I’m honest and the speaker/beeper went funny...I replaced that one with THIS model... and I’m not sorry at all... the kit is a lot sturdier, and the remote fob is brilliant , much stronger and proper good quality compared to the other 2 previous. I’m actually goin to order a couple more of this exact model just so I can make sure Iv got a top of the pops replacement should I break this at some point ... this item is amazing for the money... put it in a shed, a van, where ever.... top of the line

I knew when I place the order that it wouldn’t last and it didn’t. Remember remember you get what you pay for and if you buy cheap you usually end up paying more in the long run and waste time in the process. It worked for a couple of months, and then slowly started being faulty until it stopped working totally.Waste of money, don’t bother!!!!!

I suppose I've had 3 of these in about 4 years, so they don't last too long. 2 were one brand and 1 another brand, but all the identical except 1 is black. They all work well, loud enough in my garage to scare someone away, I think. Easy to operate and 3 tripple A batteries need changing every 3 months. Not bad alarms, but don't last forever. Will buy again.
