Woolery Forbes Mamma's Jamaican Mini Simnel Cake 300ge - a single timeless classic

I feel awful having to give anything other than 5 stars on every count, however, I think I was a bit misled by the image showing 3 small cakes when in fact it is 1 very small cake. Having said that, this is absolutely amazing. The fruit cake is very very moist, which surprised me, fruit cakes so often can be verging on dry. The flavour is incredible, you can really taste the alcohol, can't recall was it rum? just delicious. This cake deserves to get full 5 stars on it's own, but not at this price. I would suggest either bring the price down or double the size and that would get you return customers. I finish by saying again, Amazing, rich, flavoursome, melt in the mouth.

There wasn't anything reliable to give perspective in the picture (I think it must be a very small fork), so the cake was smaller than I expected. I made three slices out of it at £5 per slice. As a luxury item it's fine, and it was absolutely delicious.
