How is this on barnacles for a fiberglass boat?

I tried mine on old paint on concrete and it broke at the neck within 30 seconds. I don't know about barnacles, you might Gouge into the fiberglass. Google what you want to do.

Would these blades work on a concrete floor where carpet has been removed and only glue is left?

I'm not sure how it would do for that application. I suppose it would depend on how thick the glue is and how "attached" it is to the concrete. I used it to scrape rust and paint from a steel beam and it worked fairly well. However, you can't put much pressure on it or the tang will break. You have to be patient and let the tool do the work.
