After numerous surgeries for my husband, we had exhausted all of our "adhesive" avenues for wounds, surgery healing points, catheter openings, ostomy bag openings, and on and on and on. We came across this Adhesive Wound Dressing Fixation Tape which is what they use in the operating room, but don't send you home with any to redress wounds. It is VERY sensitive (the adhesive) but once I got the hang of it, it was fabulous. Held for days, no irritation to the skin. An overall high quality product that we are so thankful for. I purchase this product for a friend of mine that requires a diabetic pump. She is able to swim and shower without replacing the dressing each time. She gets 3 to 4 days use but feels it would stay in place longer...she needs to move sensor and probe every 3 to 4 days.I keep a roll on hand because it is just so Great.

Takes a bit of practice to get used to applying but once you get that part down this is a great value compared to the brand. Great for wrapping dressing around legs and arms to keep the wound dry. Using for a wound on my cats leg that needed to be kept dry and sterile. I use it over layers of gauze that is then wrapped with a flexible latex free self adhesive wrap and then I add this over it. She can’t use her back legs due to a spinal injury so this stuff is awesome to let her glide over her blankets. Without it she would get stuck and couldn’t move because of the sticky nature of the self adhering wrap. With her cruising all over her padded space the wrap doesn’t come off and keeps the wound totally dry. Highly recommended!

I did not end up needing to use this product but hopefully I will find a purpose for it. It adheres very well.

After wiping out while bicycling and getting road rash down my calf, regular bandages wouldn't work, there was too much surface area. I found these and with extra large gauze pads managed to keep everything clean and covered. Sticking it on can with a gauze pads can be a little tricky, but by itself isn't too hard; apply it like a screen protector. To remove, pull gently with the grain of your hair. I still have a lot of this left, so I'm set for next time.
