I Am the Dog I Am the Cat

This book reads like a poem, Hall’s unique style comes through on every page. As someone who is firmly a cat person, I find truth in both the cat and dog musings. A truly excellent book!

My grandson loved this book. Beautiful pictures

This is one of the best children's books I have seen in a long time. I first read it while observing one of my UNR Student Teachers in a 2nd grade class. I loved it so much that I bought it for my grandson and best friends' grandchildren. I highly recommend it to animal lovers!

It’s a really great book, but I was greatly disappointed to receive it with ripped pages. ☹️

My students loved the story, lots of great conversations about perspective.

Illustrations are great. Accompanying 'cat' and 'dog' dialogue not as amusing as I'd hoped. My plan had been to give it as a fun, holiday hostess gift, but it's not so fun as to be equal to that vision.

The children in my class loved this book. It was an unusual but great model for comparison/ contrast writing. The animals are a big hit and the illustrations are beautiful.
