VirbacC.E.T. VEGGIEDENT Flex Tartar Control Chews for Dogs - Extra Small

These are expensive at over a $1.00 per small chew but they are a specialty item with a purpose. Having now given them to my small-breed dog for about two months, I can say that she loves all three different types (Flex, Zen, and Fresh), and I'm happy she allegedly benefits from the joint-supporting eggshell membrane ingredient in these Flex chews. Can't honestly say, however, that I see any dental benefit since tartar still forms on her teeth -- regular home teeth brushing with an appropriate-sized doggie tooth brush and veterinary (ONLY) dog toothpaste work way better -- which may be because my dog isn't the slow and savory type...she devours these small chews in three minutes tops. I was hoping they'd keep her busy longer and thedental enzymes have a chance to do their job, but no. So, they're more a tasty (and expensive) treat than anything else, yet, thankfully, a soft treat since she has had to have some teeth pulled over the years.

Like many of us I sought out this product because my dog loves to be all up in my business with his nasty dog breath 🙃 I've heard great things from dog book and from organizations about this product and figured it was absolutely worth a shot. Unfortunately my hopes were a bit too high. My dog had one chew everyday and there was absolutely no change. His teeth actually started to yellow a bit which was sad and his breath did not improve. Super bummed this product didn't save me from manual brushing.

I had been using the Virbec Rawhide Chews. My dog loved them and they kept his teeth really clean. I bought these because my dog started getting bored with them. People said these lasted for awhile, but they're gone before I turn around and don't do anything for his teeth. He's a 40 lb Sheltie. I just wish they lasted longer.

All of my dogs like these. One of them does not like the CET chews. I hope they work well and cut down on the need to have my dogs teeth cleaned. They are a bit expensive in my opinion.

I have used CET chews for several years because my poodle broke her back teeth on a very hard chew one. She loves the regular, but these “flex chews” gave her vomiting and diarrhea. They sound like a good idea, but I’m going back to the regular ones.

I was really excited to find these treats. They are vohc approved which means they've been tested and found to actually improve dog teeth and reduce tartar. A lot of dental chews don't meet this standard. Plus! They're made out of veggies which is awesome because one of my dogs is allergic to chicken and beef.I figured out just how much my dogs loved them the day after I got them. I had given my two dogs each one the night I received them. So there were 28 chews left. I go to my college class the next day and they were left alone for about two hours. I get back and the entire bag is empty. But hey, at least their teeth are clean?

They clean very good and he loves them. I have a lab and he is very allergic to so many foods and my vet told us about the veggiedents so we tried them. He has not had any allergic reaction to them and his teeth are looking so good and his breath is not foul anymore. Just wish they could keep in stock more. I am on autoship and it is pushed back a month, so he is upset that we did not have anymore. we are waiting for them to get back in stock. Love how he is so excited to get them, but sad that he pouts when we dont have anymore. Thank you for making a treat that dogs who have allergies can enjoy!

I have two giant breed dogs who annihilate most dental chews in seconds. These seem to actually last a reasonable amount of time and my dogs go crazy for them! Since this is one of the only options that is endorsed by vets I’m glad my dogs like it. Would definitely recommend to anyone with dogs.
