Winsor & Newton Titanium White 250-ml Bottle Galeria Acrylic Paint, 2137644

I paint acrylic portraits and landscapes on canvas. This is my favourite brand that I keep buying. I have purchased other similar level acrylic paint and even some higher quality paint. I think for the value of money this is the best brand. Some of the really high quality paints (golden artist quality for example) is of course better than this- better pigment, clearer paint mixing ability, better opacity in some colours. However this brand is very affordable and the paints are a great consistency, good dry time, Somewhat thick but not too thick, really good pigment, good opacity on many colours, pretty good for mixing for many colours.I think if you are starting out with painting or are buying paint for a new artist get this brand of paint and get a very large container of white, and then tubes of cad yellow, yellow ochre, cad red or vermillion, alizarin crimson, ultramarine, Windsor blue or cerulean blue, burnt Sienna, and raw umber or Prussian blue. You can mix most colours with these ones and having a moderately limited range will help you learn colour theory pretty quick ( wouldn't recommend buying all the colours and learning to paint with that- you'll struggle with learning to mix paint colours and get overwhelmed with choice). If you love the more artificial colours you can buy some of the neons or bright ones but they are not great for mixing- can lead to a muddy result fast- and have poor opacity so will work best over a white surface.

This is the best white acrylic paint I have ever used.Well worth the price.

It's just white paint. It's good. I was expecting the really large bottles that I have in the studio but it's a bit smaller - I didn't check the measurements, of course.

Loved the paint. Smooth easy flow great coverage. The only thing i dont like is the container. Hard to get the paint out with the squeeze option or by lifting cap and getting out that way. I always had to remove whole lid. But not really a big deal and overall i was really happy.

I seem to use white every painting session, I enjoy that there is enough in this container I do not run out quickly. It mixes well, and covers reasonably. No nasty odours.
