As long as you lift up the ponytail and place one of the prongs of the comb into the elastic before sliding it down into your head, it holds the ponytail up high. If you just lift up the ponytail and slide the comb into your hair without first putting a prong into the elastic band around your ponytail then your ponytail will fall a lot lower.

As son as I figure them out, I think I'll like it a lot.

Kind of cheap. does its job. kind of falls out of place a little and also kind of hurts the back of my head. I like it better then the high pony tail bobby pin trick, though.

Hard plastic. Won't stay in place. Although it looks like hair would stay in nice smooth place, it still parts (if you can get it to be still more than 30 seconds). Also, took forever to receive in the United States.

Looked like it would work great, but not really. It's ok I guess, but I haven't really gotten it to work successfully in my hair yet. I really wanted to like this product but just couldn't. Maybe it's only meant for a specific hair type or length?
