Serves purpose, *but at a cost...
Does what it was supposed to do, extend my shower head so the dripping after shit off doesn't hit the tub spout, but there is a cost. During install (which o had to do twice) the black paint came completely off where you tighten with a wrench. You won't possibly have this issue with non paint finishes. Some tips... Do not use the provided Teflon tape... It's garbage. Go get some good quality kind and save you the trouble. I had to take it down and re tape (with good Teflon tape since it leaked the first time. I had to re paint the pipe after the 2nd install. Otherwise this shower pipe serves its purpose we'll.

Installed yesterday. No complaints or issues. Threads were fine and finish is very good. Matches the other matte black fixtures in shower and bathroom.
