HTS 170C0 4.75" Curved Stainless Steel Stamp Tweezers

Item is not as pictured but I’m using it for getting crabmeat in the small nooks and crannies out of the shell.The pincher portion is curved sideways so you have to turn it. But it is meant for stamps not what I want it for. Still not as pictured or I wouldn’t have chosen this one.

Just what I needed to help pickujp the stamps without bending/creasing it

I love these angled tongs. They are so much more efficient and safer for handling my valuable stamps than any straight-line tongs I have ever owned. The reasons are twofold. First and most important, we are almost always using stamp tongs at an angle, so the tong head angle matches the angle that we meet the stamp. For example, yesterday I was removing some classic US issues from an old album to mount into my own album. Some were in mounts and some were hinged, but both were much more secure with the angle of these tongs because I approached the stamps at a slight angle to the flat page. Likewise when I mounted the stamps in mounts in my album, the mount was flat on the page, but my hand was above the page, so the angled tongs allowed me to keep the stamp in line with the mount because of the angled tongs.The second reason is the nice flat and rounded shape of the blades of thee tongs. There is no chance of catching a perforation, creasing a stamp, or in any other way causing damage even to very old and delicate stamps. These definitely have become my favorite pair pf stamp tongs to use!

Cheap and delivered quickly so seller is awesome. But product, while marketed for stamps is too thick and won’t slide under a stamp. If you want something for stamps. Fork out the extra money and get showgard made in Germany - they are super thin and slide right under the stamp.

These work well for the most part but the tongs are a little think. I lost my good set of 30 years and ordered these to replace. I don't regret, but they aren't as good. I recommend taking a file or a block and sand paper and flattening the bottom tong to an almost sharp edge so i will be easier to slide under the stamp with out risk of damaging the edge. That done and I'd give them 5 stars instead of 4.

These stamp tweezers work perfectly. It saves your fingers from placing stamps in sleeves.

a great tool to have for getting your postage stamps from storage binder.

The longer length arms make it great for reaching into bags. The little twist of the tongues facilitated their use. The tips are thin which helps get under stamps. That said I filed the lower tip down for even better grabbing.
