First thing I did was make sure all the packages were correct, and that I wasn't missing anything.This is not a beginner model. If you have been out of the hobby a while or are just starting go with an easier kit. To that end the details are a cut above on this model. I have been around the real thing long enough so it really has a special place in my heart.People are debating over weather to add texture to the top areas or not. For scale it is accurate, however as in many cases in modeling exaggerating the texture a bit is done for emphasis. Do what feels right to you.

Kit was packaged well and arrived in great conditions.

Pros: Great Kit ...best detail on the marketCONS! after opening the kit and starting on it I found it was missing the PE plates , the decals , and several other parts.I contacted Amazon and applied for distributer to supply me the missing parts. Amazon said they had contacted the seller and I would be notified when they were shipped. Weeks now and no word from anyone.Some one has dropped the ball and for the High price of this kit IT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!

Surface detail (anti-slip detail) is not overstated. This is actually a Merkava Mk IV M, having the correct side skirts, and loader's hatch, as compared to the hobby boss kit that does not. Workable tracks, and suspension makes mounting on a terrain base much easier. I'm not a fan of the plastic turret ball and chain armor, but this should be easily replaced. Overall, an amazing model!
