Michelin Battle of Normandy Map No.102

Fantastic map BUT it is 1945 detail and not suitable for general tourism at Normandy, Lovely map but way way to detailed for my endeavor,

Excellent map for understanding the Normandy invasion.

Exactly what I was hoping for prior to a trip to Normandy so I could get a sense ofmy bearings between the many sites we were visiting.

It's okay. More of an overlay of their standard roadmap.I was hoping for more detail.

I like that the battles, monuments, and cemeteries are all annotated on the map.

This is a great historic map of the D-Day battle fields. It shows troop movements for a three month period from June 7th 1944 until August of 44. It was a wonderful resource for the D-Day 70th anniversary celebration. We visited the Normandy battlefields in April 2014 and saw the map there. It was a bit cheaper on Amazon than in France.

I first bought this map when we visited for the 40th anniversary of the Battle of Normandy. I found it excellent, clear and, explanatory for our visit. I kept it in my collection and didn't want to give it away.This year a friend is visiting for the 70th anniversary, I bought the map for him.

I liked this map alot. As I was reading a book on d-day I actually was following the map to see where the battles were taking place and also the showing of the whole normandy beaches and inland.
