I am a real estate agent and a client came to an open house I was hosting. The next day she came to my office to show me the saying she had in her fortune cookie the evening she had met me. It stated "you will be in a wonderful new house by the end of the year". We found a house for her the next week and she settled on that house on thirty five days later. I just HAD to find a permanent "cookie" and this couldn't be better. A good weight, not too small, not too big with a very nice finish. I printed out her fortune, put her settlement date on the reverse side and placed it in the cookie and gave it to her as a settlement gift. She was thrilled and said she'd place it on her coffee table for all to see and she'll tell the story.

It's perfect! Nice size - two times bigger than a real fortune cookie. Wrote a beautiful fortune/note in it for my husband for our 25th wedding anniversary - the 25th is SILVER. It was perfect. Great quality. Hinge works well. My husband loved it. Can be a very thoughtful gift when writing your own personal note for inside.

These are simply a fantastic item.
