Legato Performance LEX4141 Axle-Back Exhaust Kit

Sounds great! Deep tone without major drone I experienced with glass packs. I installed on a V6 car even though it's specified for a V8. The only difference in factory exhaust for axle back kits is the pipe dia. 2.25 for V6, 2.5 for V8. Used a reducer.The only negative is the angles of some of the bends are not exactly correct and fit is biased toward the left side. The tail pipe comes within 1/2" of the axle support on LH side, about 2" on RH side.

This is a great sounding exhaust. Quite a bit louder than the stock system, with a deeper note and a little more poppy on deceleration. Quiet when cruising, pretty aggressive at WOT and downshift revs. Completely drone free at all rpm. Don’t go by the instructions, check fitment yourself. My setup required me to cut less off of the exhaust than what is called for in the instructions, about 5 1/2” from the hanger. Great quality. Tips look much better than the originals. Highly recommend trying this exhaust before dumping hundreds more on another axle-back.

Both this for my 2015 Camaro 2SS and it's just a tad bit louder than the OEM muffler and it only "growls" on startup or low RPM. I'm now in the process of changing it to a better sounding muffler like Borla or Flowmaster. Just save your $$ and get the one that you'll be happy with...

I purchased these for my 2015 2SS Camaro. The factory exhaust system is far too tame and needs more sound, The pipes are shipped together in the same box with no protection from each other. One of the pipe inlets was bent out-of-round despite the hard plugs in the pipes that were mean to to prevent this. Some of the hangers were also bent out of shape. My mechanic needed to fix these issues before installation.The install went okay, but there are several things to note. The instructions call for the factory pipe to be cut 9 1/2" from the hanger, Cut it at 9 1/2" and you WILL be sorry! Hold your new pipe up and eye-ball it first. Mine was cut at more like 6.5" not 9.5"I took mine to a professional and had him install these and I'm glad I did. These systems are bolt-on only if you don't care what they look like when complete. Otherwise, they always need major tweaking to get the exhaust tips to line up, make sure things don't rattle, etc. "Major tweaking" means you will need large pry bars and box end wrenches to bend the hangers to align things. There is a piece in the factory exhaust that ties both pipes together that installation of the Legato system removes. My mechanic welded this piece back in to make the system stable.When complete, I ended up with a nice exhaust system. Compared to the stock system, these are louder, but not by much. I was hoping for a little more sound, but it was not meant to be. The price of this system is excellent compared to everything else, so no complaints. I gave these pipes 4 stars instead of 5 only because they need just a *touch* more sound to be perfect,

Installation was very easy. That is the only good thing I can say. I wanted mufflers that gave a comparable sound as the Mustang GT. for my 2014 Camaro SS. Didn't happen . Other than a mild rumble at idle. these are almost as quiet as my stock mufflers. I contacted the company and their response was oh we are sorry you don't like them. In time you might get used to them.
