So far, so good! 1st impression after about a week:✓ sturdy construction, quality materials✓ functions as advertised✓ does what I expected it to do for meThis is a great tool for IDs and passes with visible or proximity components. I have to key in to my parking area with a proximity key while riding a motorcycle. Having my ID on my arm, rather than on a lanyard inside my jacket, has made a great difference in ease and safety. No more one handed fumbling while balancing the bike. Once inside, I need ID visible "above the waist," so I am covered there as well.Strong hook/loop closure means popping the ID in/out is not feasible. I swap to a lanyard once at my desk for practicality, and leave the arm band with my riding gear. Read other reviews to confirm: this is not the item you want for all day use if you are frequently handling your ID. Fantastic product when used as intended.I anticipate the elastic wearing out in the next six-eight months, wrinkling the straps and eventually requiring replacement in about a year. My use is almost exclusively outdoor, though, so your mileage may vary.

Well made, but the only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the Velcro that holds your ID in works too well. I bought this to hold my ID when riding my motorcycle onto base. Some of the guards want the ID taken out of the carrier and it is very difficult to open the Velcro, especially when wearing gloves. For the time it takes to remove he gloves and open this ID carrier I might as well just keep it in my wallet.If you are using it to just have an ID visible or to use with a proximity reader it would be perfect.

Is well used from my fellow brother's & sister's at arms and myself beyond my time of service. I use it as a every day id holder while working security at music venues. Great product that has not failed me, but like most things it has its flaws and are easy to fix. Example at times where it just won't stay in place (slide down my arm) or depending on the type of items placed inside and the activity mixed with weather may build up moister. When not adjusting its all ways viewable within eye view. No more lost badges due to inferior hardware clips and lanyards. Its made right here at home the U.S of A.

Does get condensation inside. Not enough to be worried though. ID scans thru the plastic just fine.Update 7/13/17 after a couple months of use the bands are not staying tight. I am having to adjust the bottom strap often. It is a pain to always having to fix it. The upper band is fine and has no issues. Knocking off a star because of it.

This armband has lasted way longer than I expected it to. Very durable. I use it to hold an access badge on my arm while riding my motorcycle to open the gate at work.

I ride a motorcycle and work in a prison. Every morning and evening I need to show my ID as I come and go through the main vehicle entry. I got tired of trying to fish my ID out of my pockets with my gloves on and dropping my ID, or rolling up to the check point and removing my gloves to get at my ID. One of the guards suggested an armband so I did a search on Amazon and found this armband. I have been using it daily for several months now and love it. The check point guards have commented on how they like it too. My only "complaint" is, I wish it was easier to get the ID in and out. The velcro is VERY strong - a good thing ... but I need to removed the ID to carry in with me and the put it back in the holder at the end of the day before I ride home. I may try to modify it with some kind of tab to make it easier to open up, but this is a very minor complaint, I really love this thing, it has made entering and exiting the institution easier and quicker too. It is very well made and the two adjustable elastic straps work very well, it doesn't move, slip or blow around at all! I am very happy with this purchase.

Holds my ID securely, and the guard where I work can easily scan the card through the plastic. I would buy it again.
