Great value and quality for the outlay.
I wasn't expecting much for the price, but was pleasantly surprised with the level of build quality. Yes you might find the base a bit light if you bump it, but I had already expected that it might be unstable. I always put a small barbell weight (with a woollen cover my wife knitted) to keep stands solidly anchored. I use the same weight for my Cardioid mic stand (different design, no boom) when I do D.A.W. recordings. A caveat - the stand does not have rubber feet so make sure it stands on a mat to avoid scratching your desk.

Just right for hands free
Arrived as stated in good condition although no outer package so what was in the box was displayed when left on doorstep-not good. Well made and infinitely adjustable in all directions and takes bulky mike with ease. Blalace is the only consideration as the base whilst being fairly heavy tips with extended horizontal extension but easy to overcome

Great quality for the price, not enough weight
Like every other review says, the quality is great but the weight isn't all that great for when you extend the rod fully but it is perfectly fine it you are to mic up a guitar amp, in other cases though you may need to add more weight.

Needed one that was extendable.
It was good quality but sadly I found it too small for my use. Can I return it as it has been several wks since I purchased the item.

Don't boom the boom!
Quite a sturdy mic stand and a good price. But sadly, the boom function is really poor. The base just isn't heavy or wide enough to take the weight of the mic if you extend the boom arm any other way than straight up. Could do with a counter weight at the other end. So not a great choice if you really need the boom function, as your mic may not survive.

Overbalances but.....
People say it is unstable ,too light but it would need a massive base to be able fully extend the boom ,I've found putting a metal disc / weight , on the back end of the boom helps alot making it alot more stable. It is a well made piece of kit and worth the money but a little adaptation may be needed. Well worth it

Broken DO NOT BUY waste of money
Worked well first day even tho i needed a weight to prevent it from falling, few days in there were many scratches on its surface and now just under week its gone SNAP and its broken. Spend a bit more money and save urslef the headache.(I have a video interview tmrw so I need something ASAP).

Too light to hold a mic up.
Nice little desk stand but can’t handle the weight of a mic. It falls over. I think it’s a perfect temporary solution for now but will give it to my children to play with when I’ve updated my desk and setup.
