I ordered an XL and I typically wear 33-34 pants (US). I'm a soccer player and I hit the gym twice a week for legs and I hated normal shorts because they always felt so tight around my upper thighs and my butt (I have no thigh gap) but these fit beautifully and I like the more durable material. They don't get caught at all because they fit beautifully.I'm 6'1" and 210lbs with probably somewhere around 10-15% body fat so im not a plus-sized guy. Normal shorts just always felt like they were real tight around my butt and upper thighs. I'm definitely buying more of these.

after reading the other reviews, i ordered a size up (2xl). They fit, but barely, and feel like they might limit my mobility. I'm 5'8, 235lbs woman. These don't go up as high as i'd like them to, i'm glad i also bought slider shorts so that bending over doesn't reveal anything. i'm a bit worried they'll rip, since they're so tight and unflexible.

These rock. I bought my first pair about a month ago and have been wearing them every day since.They are comfortable, particularly for the summer. They are short enough to not cover too much of your leg, the sturdiness of the cloth helps them stay off your legs to give more breathing room, they cotton itself is a breathable cool material, and there's plenty of space in the crotch area for good airflow. These are the ideal summer shorts. They also look good. I have black and white. The white pair is thick enough so that the color of my boxers does not come through much, unlike most white shorts.They are STURDY. The elastic holds up very well so I can put heavy things in my pockets and they won't slide down even if the string is not tied. The pockets are a good size as well.I'm 6'6" with 36" waist and went with XL for my first pair, but then XXL for my second pair, which was a better choice. XL works fine too but is just slightly tighter. The XXL fit me perfectly and also were slightly longer so they do a better job of covering my boxers.The only con I can think of is that the orientation of the pockets causes my phone and/or wallet to slide out of the pocket almost every time I sit down.

Last minute needed these for a competition then next day. Ordered late eve, it said they'd get here between 4 and 8am next day. I'm getting pretty jaded about delivery times, can't tell you how many times next day delivery has turned into a 2-3 day wait. Wasn't thinking these would actually show but they did. Next morning we're getting ready to leave, and here comes our delivery at 4:30am. Wow. Was able to wear them that day. Great shorts, well made, would order and will order again.

I started buying rugby shorts when I decided to slow down to relax more and work less. At first I settled on one brand and bought several pairs; as soon as I did, the company quit making them. I tried others but liked the ones made of cotton the best. I happened to choose this brand on inseam length, tried them on and they have been my favorites ever since. I see in the comments that when used to actually play rugby, there are some issues. I don't play rugby; I like them because they are comfortable. They are tough, they clean up nicely and wear like iron (maybe not in a rugby match).

I bought these for my son:;17, 5'7", 125 to play soccer in. He absolutely loves the mid-thigh length and the waist fit perfectly on the XXS. They are durable and good looking, they show off the results of leg-day work.
