Excellent non slip surface, comfy, looks great!
This bathmat is awesome! Non slip and the 🌈 rainbow colors make me smile! Rainbow mat is so well made, and looks EXACTLY as shown. Colors are all nice and bright, and with the black slats showing from underneath, it actually looks a bit more sophisticated (expensive) than I anticipated (since you never *really* know til you see something in person). In other words, it doesn’t look like something that would *only* belong in a kindergarten classroom. LolMy tub/shower is a standard 1980s era one-piece fiberglass unit, with an incredibly slick and slippery floor because it’s completely smooth. I’ve slipped and hurt myself so many times because it gets really slick when wet and I also have some balance and mobility issues. Non slip bathtub stickers have worked well but don’t feel terribly comfortable against your skin to stand or sit on, and I now despise the way they look. After a couple years, my clear tub stickers started lifting ~1-2mm just on the edges, revealing mildew stains in certain areas (minor issue, but still annoying). No amount of cleaning resolved the this, so I started looking at alternatives. This is the perfect solution for me! I read complaints re: the mat being uncomfortable, but this is actually A LOT more comfortable for me to stand on than a bare bathtub floor (even without textured stickers). I think it’s because of the grooved and slatted surface texture and the number of small suction cups that end up providing just a little bit of “cushion” under my feet. Of course, this isn’t quite like memory foam or anything, but it feels really good, and most importantly, it stays put! And FWIW, I have tender feet because of constant peripheral neuropathy pain, plantar fasciitis, bone spurs, and have severe arthritis and degenerative disc disease. So the only times my feet EVER touch the floor or ground without Birkenstocks— even for a minute—are while showering (and that’s briefly standing only, bc my foot, knee, hip, spinal issues, pain and mobility issues). While individual needs and preferences vary, I don’t have any problem at all with this. The only description I can think of: imagine a shower mat made from slats of high quality textured wood or composite decking material. Now add a little bit of bounce. LolSince my tub is a narrow builder grade model (very common type in the US), I place the mat lengthwise. It fits perfectly this way, with enough room for my bulky Moen brand shower bench on the other end of the tub. No need for me to trim the mat! I lightly wet the tub floor surface before placing the mat down so that the suction cups will stick even better, and gently press down to make sure the entire mat feels “stuck” in place before standing on it. When dry, the mat sticks perfectly well to the dry fiberglass wall (also smooth), but I’m not taking chances with something I stand on.No slipping underfoot even if I try to make it shift or move, and I haven’t even bothered to remove the textured tub stickers yet! Water, soap suds, conditioner, those irritating strands of long hair that shed after shampooing— nothing seems to get stuck in this mat during use (though any bathmat will become gross pretty fast if left in place for days or weeks at a time). So I’m rinsing and removing it to dry completely after each use: pull it up, rinse well and stand it up on its side to dry. Then I stick the dry mat to the dry side of the shower wall til it’s time to shower again. This is the manufacturer’s recommended usage to maintain hygiene and ease of cleaning/prevent mildew. Only takes a minute and very little strength or effort required to pull it up and rinse… though tbh, with my painful spinal issues, balancing issues, I’d much prefer to just leave it in place forever if I could. But until a 100% maintenance free, self cleaning/self sanitizing bathmat is invented (or until I win the lottery and can afford housekeeping staff), “after use, remove until it’s completely dry” is just best practice for any type of bathmat, especially if you want to avoid soap scum buildup and mildew.I’ll update this review if anything changes, but so far it works perfectly and it’s just the coolest bath mat I’ve ever seen! I purchased this myself from Amazon, and am not receiving compensation or any other consideration for this review, and I’m not affiliated with any company/organization. So I hope this helps! If so, please let me know and make me smile by clicking the “helpful” button below!

Third I've bought (for three different tubs) - safe, effective, easy.
I love that these are easy to place, keep us from slipping, and are easy to clean and STAND UP to dry. Colorful choices. Like this light-blue/green the best. Some people may find them uncomfortable to stand on (hence, my 4 stars for comfort); but I actually think they are easy to stand on. Water drains through them better than the squishy kind I had tried in the past. And they clean up better than the plastic-mat kind that I used to use. Highly recommend.Edit (October 2023). After about four months I noticed mold on the bottom side. Tried products to remove it. Didn’t work. I still like these so I bought a replacement. Now I dry it a little bit (after final use of the morning) by laying it on the bath at we use outside the shower before standing it back up in the tub. I think the mold developed when we’d forget to pick it up and stand it up. Now we try to remember to stand it up even between my and my spouse’s shower.

Non slip
Bought for my mom, she loves it and doesn’t feel like she is going to slip in the shower. Great price.

Very nice!
Got this for my guest bathroom shower/tub combo and fits great. It looks very attractive too, nicer than other mats. My guests say it is comfortable on the feet and it does not slip!

This is the “Only”mat that hasn’t move when my husband showers.
As some people have mentioned it is made of hard plastic. I could see where it would very uncomfortable to sit on it, but to stand on for the length of a shower isn’t an issue. Another feature I like is that the water drains and doesn’t pool around the mat.

Perfect feel.
Like the sturdiness and yet comfortable to stand on. The suctions on the bottom prevent them from moving so are safe in moving around the shower. I have a walk in and when finished is stand them on end till ready for next shower. Easy to clean. I rinse them before getting out of shower and stand to let dry for next use. Very pleased.

Happy with purchase
So far I’ve been happy with this purchase. Easy grip suction cups and sturdy. I like that it is easy to rinse and it can stand up on its own to dry

For smooth surface
These are actually easy on the feet and work well on a smooth tub or shower surface. We moved into a new home that has non slip textured surfaces on the bottom of our tub and shower. Which I didnt realize until I we moved in completely. These will not stick on texture tubs. BUT they will on the side of my tub where I lay my back against. It works well and helps keep me from sliding down when I try and get out of the tub.

Does the Trick
Good Suction (If pressed down first before stepping on)Firm, but I don't find it close to hurting my feet. Can be cut into smaller sections if needed.Switched to this from those nonslip loofah mats. The loofah mats trap hair and fell apart very quick. This mat is a much better upgrade. Its firm, but I wouldn't say it hurts my feet.It has good suction my it HAS to be pressed down first before you step on it. Whenever I'm done in the shower I pull up the mat and curl it up to leave on its side to let it dry off (to avoid mold build up) but when I place it back down I have to press it down with my hands otherwise once I step in then it'll slip and could cause you to slip/fall as well.Other than that it'll have a second function of being cut into smaller parts if needed. (Which I don't require as of yet, but if the suction cups were to rip off then I'll cut this mat into sections for other purposes rather than having to throw it away, which is a bonus.)
