Assemble carefully--you'll get a surprisingly powerful bike for a great price
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This bike feels much more powerful than I expected--the first several reviews were fair and accurate in their descriptions. It also rides really well, just like a normal bike, when the electric system is off--not hard to get home if your battery dies early. But I was not careful when I assembled the bike. I had the front wheel turned backwards when mounting the handlebar tube--do not do that. It takes up the slack in the wires and causes you to strain & twist the wires as you lift the handlebar's shaft up to get the wedge bolt over the receiving hole's edge and then down into the frame's handlebar tube. I also crimped the headlight wire, which did not turn on until I wiggled the wire out of its twisted position. This caused the bike to not work at first, as you can see in the video. My first impression was that the pedal assist was stuck on "5", as you can see in the video. But it turns out that "5" with the flashing blue power symbol actually was an error code. There are other error codes too--if the throttle is twisted open when the display is turned on, the display will stay on "2" until you release the throttle. Likewise, if you unplug the rear hub motor, the display will stay on "4". These are diagnostic error codes, not a faulty display. After realizing that my headlight wire had been crimped, I realized I'd probably done the same thing to the other wires. With the display on error code "5", I wiggled and twisted the primary wire bundle (with the display on) until suddenly the display changed to "1" and the blue power symbol stopped flashing. It worked! So error code "5" probably means "weak connection/twisted cable" between the LCD display and the main controller. One key is that the display's power symbol is flashing and the number won't change when there's an error code; by contrast, the power symbol is solid when displaying a pedal assist level that can be clicked up or down as normal.Anyways--the bike is working great now, consistent with the other early reviewers. Really zippy and fun.My two warnings are this:1.) Be careful during assembly and do not twist the cables too hard.2.) The manual is terrible. It has no mention of error codes or anything (though it does warn not to twist the cable bundle during handlebar tube insertion, oops for me). I deduced the error codes by causing specific conditions (open throttle, disconnected rear hub cable) that other e-bike displays typically produce error codes for--and they appeared. My deductions about the meaning of each code are plausible but have not yet been confirmed by the manufacturer, so look for more updates.

Terrible quality battery is solid
This bike is made for a child I'd assume if you are over 6ft do not get this bike. I feel that I waisted $600 I could've set it on fire and got more enjoyment out of it. The seat.... Forget about it if you plan on riding for more than 6 miles witch is my daily commute on this bike the seat will tear right into your ass about 45 minutes in it is possibly the worst seat I have ever sat on. The entire price of the bike is mainly the battery and that's witch is good and gets solid life, but the bike itself is mediocre at best both of my pedals have cheesed off witch I don't even understand how that happened one almost made me lose control and wreck into oncoming traffic because I was at the highest speed setting even though I am roughly 185lbs. This bike seems to be made for smaller people below 6tf if you're 6ft + anything I'd definitely stay away from this bike entirely as I'm assuming just because of hight alone the bike will not support the hight. This bike should honestly be around $250-300 MAX no shock support so you feel everything my light only works if it is pointed to the sky if I lower it the light will either flicker of turn off completely witch makes riding at night a complete fun not knowing if you're going to slam into a car door or hit a huge pot hole. I guess that's always fun. For some reason assembly was completely idiotic the instructions could go into more detail for the beginning user as it doesn't clarify anything important on speed, weather conditions, or anything important it's just cut throat put this there and screw this. Witch is fine for the season ebiker but for a newbie I was having trouble putting it together and there's not alot of information on this bike. I'd say if you're 5'7 down and 140lbs or less this bike is for you. If you are ANYTHING above that stay away. Just go and buy the thousand dollar bike you will not regret it don't go cheap with this one even if it is your first Ebike or you will be like me using screws as pedals.

First electric bike and it is a quite heavy duty
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Many of my friends are doing food delivery as a side hassle. I bought this one for my son because I want him to be financially independent and make some money. Not only is he able to make money and be independent but the fact that he can workout to lower his body fat. There are 3 modes and 6-speed gears. The 36v 10Ah battery provides 23+ miles range on pure electric mode and it will go much longer(40+ miles ) with pedal assist mode. The bike is heavy duty and made with a decent sturdy frame. The 250W motor is able to generate a top speed of 15.5 MPH. And they have a battery lock. The brakes are responsive and made it easy to stop immediately. Also, the maintenance is minimal. I did have a difficult time installing the front wheel because it was not detailed in the user manual. But I managed to put it together in 40 mins.My son can make $300+ easily and I'm glad that he had learned how to be financially independent and able to buy things he wanted.
