Softness decieves, exfoliates very well!
This exfoliates much better than I imagined. It's soft so you don't feel it at 1st. Using 1 layer with your hand inside the mitt exfoliates. It's also a nice soft washcloth and works great with a bar of olive oil soap. I'm not sure what the string is for, cutting mine off.Be careful. My 1st use I used the vertical/horizontal technique. It's so soft I didn't realize I was scraping the 1st layer of skin. I actually scrapes the apples of my cheeks and had redness for several days that almost felt like a sunburn. I rub in some extra virgin olive oil before bedtime and it resolved. Considering these for Christmas stocking stuffers.

I like to give things time before I review
I bought this about a month ago. I like to give things time before I review. I really do like this product. It's not very "scratchy" like a lot of these types of products. However, I felt as if it was truly exfoliating but not leaving my skin all scratched up. A number of years ago, I got a serious sunburn on my décolleté. Honestly, this is my trouble spot, not my face. I've never had a sunburn on my face, or anywhere else. I have noticed that the sun damaged area does look and feel better. I decided that I like the produce so much, that I'm going to get a second one exclusively for my face and use the current one on my body. Thank you!

This helps to exfoliate your skin, but it can cause discomfort to sensitive skin. You have to be very gentle when using it or you can get a lot of redness and irritation.

Good for rosacea
I have sensitive rosacea skin that cannot tolerate exfoliating. However, I use this mitt night and morning, rubbing gently, and it removes dry skin flakes without making my face red. I have had it for months and it looks like new and works great. I'm so happy I found this!

A friend recommended this product and I absolutely LOVE it! After the first use you notice younger smoother skin, even my sun damage (spots) are improving, also great for enlarged pores and fine lines. A must have!

This is an amazing product. Used one time and I can already see the difference.
