The patterns in this book are really cute and I will definitely make several. To be honest, I mainly bought this book for the bear pattern in it and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend for anyone with little ones in their life.

Had to buy this as the adorable little girls featured in it are my great nieces :-)

I'm always on the lookout for cute kids' knits, so I was excited to check out this collection. If you expect to do a lot of baby knitting in the future, you should definitely grab a copy of this adorable collection--23 sweet baby sweaters, dresses, blankets and even a few toys, from designers including Tanis Gray, Kate Oates, Rebecca Danger and Melissa Schaschwary. It's full of contemporary styles (no pastels or crunchy-looking acrylic yarn!), easy-to-read instructions, and a variety of projects, whether you're looking for quick knits or garments.With the exception of 4 dresses/tunics, the pieces in this collection are unisex, so they would be wonderful gifts for expectant moms, and can be handed down to future siblings, whether boys or girls. And if you are knitting for girls, the tunics are a great option, because they can be worn as dresses on babies, and then as shirts on toddlers--more bang for your buck!I would make one note about the sizes included in this collection--sizing varies by pattern, but the majority of these patterns are sized for babies (as you might expect from the title!). A few garments include sizes up to 4T, but most top out at 24 mos. So if your kids are leaving babyhood behind, this collection probably won't be as useful for you (unless you're up for some math!).

I cannot use any of these patterns as the instructions are for circular needles only! I have wasted my money:(What a pity the review doesn't indicate that all the patterns are for knitting with circular needles.

All knitted in the round wish they said in the blurb of the book.Pity as I do not knit in the round.Glad I found Adorable Baby Knits by Jody Long which are all worked flat.

easy to understand instructions and good photos make the knitting the patterns a pleasure

A lovely book with loads of great patterns. The sizes range from newborn up until 5, although not all patterns are in all sizes but I have a 4yo and a 2 year old as well as baby nieces and there are plenty of choices for all of them.
