Got my first deer
Great broad head! Used it with my ten point crossbow and got my first deer with it too. Took it right down.

Very effective
We have used these on both varmint and deer. They are a one shot kill, mostly go right through. Highly recommend these as they put food on the table with ease.

Montec fixed 3 blade
These broadheads worked very well for me, ordered them for Spring Black bear hunt in Canada, fellow hunters recommended fixed 3 blade for bear, not disappointed at all, they grouped well before the trip, made a good shot and the broad head did its job, complete pass through, bear went 35yds and crashed, good blood trail to follow for recovery.

Good penetration. Adequate wound channel.
Hunters know that "the fun stops when you pull the trigger" and following a blood trail for more than a few yards gets kinda arduous. Even with an older TenPoint Maverick, I've had several "through and throughs" with these. They leave a good wound channel resulting in quick kills. You can spend more money, but you probably won't get more effective.

No glare to catch the eye.
I have been busted a couple times by glare or shine from broadheads in the past. First couple times I was sure glare busted me. I got busted again, left the bow and broad head as it was on the last spook and walked out where the deer just froze and then bolted. Sure enough, I squatted a foot and there it was shining like a mirror. I was instantly disgusted. The buck that spooked would have been the first Booner and Pope & Young for me. The black broadheads are the only way to go! To take such care for everything to be scent free and be busted over a glare is in a very polite way, disgusting!I love these and will never go back to flashy flash. Hunting is not about glitz, chrome, and shine. These Broadheads are super tough and hard. I did a pass through and buried the broad head into a tree almost shaft deep. Cut the broadhead out of the tree with a saws all and a pocket knife and the edges were still razor sharp. I love these and they are a very good broadhead.
