good reviews must be from people who don't print color photos - bad color match!
I give it two stars only because the black ink may be usable for text only printing and the nice presentation of the kit with what it included. That being said, though, I found it unacceptable to use in refilling HP cartridges because the consistency of the ink is more like water and runs right through them almost immediately, and leaks out of the cartridge entirely after a short time. Not that this matters overmuch, since the quality of color prints is so poor you don't really miss it. Our work depends on accurate color reproduction of samples that are given to us, and if the ink is not up to the task of outputting what the monitor is calibrated to match, it is essentially useless to us. No amount of adjustment could make this ink produce a usable reproduction of color to match scanned photos and it was a tremendous waste of time.I made an error thinking that bulk ink was all of the same quality, or at least of the minimum quality that used to come in the universal refill kits when they were still available at retail stores for 10 bucks. I had done some research on the best refill inks some time ago, but I had not realized the range of possibility from what I had been exposed to. Seeing all the good reviews of this item made me think it would be fine to go with a complete set of ink for less than what I would pay for the higher quality bulk ink in only ONE color, albeit less volume, I figured it would be worth it, but I forgot that most people are not as detail oriented as I tend to be. This is a country that actually has people supporting Trump, and one cannot assume that a lot of people in agreement about something must be correct about that thing.I worried right away that it would be problematic based on the yellow ink color alone. The previous refills I have used, and also the ink which has leaked out of the OEM cartridges from HP, has always had yellow ink that made me wonder if it had somehow cross contaminated with the magenta because it seemed almost reddish brown in color rather than yellow. This kit shows a yellow that is nearly the color of water with some food coloring added to it, while the bulk ink I got from MIS was more opaque even when it was out of the translucent container. The magenta and cyan were not as noticeably weak, but the magenta seemed to just drip out of the printhead straight away, and the refilled cartridges were empty almost immediately after filling them and running a few print tests to check the cartridge function. This had to be done several times, however, as the color matching was no where close to the original quality. Colors were washed out and notably off, with difficulty producing clean strong reds and flesh tones were especially poor. Everything would have a somewhat greenish tint even with tinkering with color profiles and as many adjustments as I could find to compensate for the problems. It just didn't look right no matter what paper or settings were used. I had the same problem with multiple cartridges and three different printers, and eventually I got so frustrated with the poor results that I bit the bullet and bought the MIS bulk ink refills that I had used before and the difference was immediately apparent in the viscosity of the liquid ink alone, and really obvious when comparing the yellow color between the two brands (see photos MIS vs BCH yellow for the stark difference). If you don't care about realistic looking photos or true to life color reproduction then it may be a kit that works fine for you, but I will be trying to find an alternative artistic use for the remaining ink in this kit because it will not be going into my cartridges for my inkjet printer again. It is still going to save me tons of money to buy MIS refill ink over the HP cartridges, but even though I have more than I will ever be able to use thanks to the volume I had to buy of each color, it is still a better value to spend 50 bucks for that over the cost for this ink that I cannot use. The black may be fine for text drafts, so that is something, but I am much happier with a higher quality bulk ink that is going to produce reliable color prints that rival the original OEM colors rather than struggle with the murky pudding this kit produced.

I realized things are actually easy. Everything works great
I was totally new to refilling my own cartridges. I thought the instruction I was able to get from the website could have been more thorough and clear for someone who have absolutely no idea. For example, I did not know whether to drill a tiny hole through the ball using the included hand drill or push and knock the ball completely into the cartridge. The instruction says push the ball with a screw driver into the cartridge. But then why is the hand drill included? At the end, I realized it probably doesn't matter either way but if you're new to this, you would spend some time wondering which is the correct method. That was the first ambiguity. I ended up drilling a hole through the ball using the hand drill. The hand drill could be slightly bigger because after drilling a hole through the ball, the blunt needle does not fit through and so you need to make the hole a little bigger somehow. Additionally, the instruction just says slowly fill up the cartridge. I'm guessing I must be an idiot at this point not knowing whether the needle should go through the hole I just drilled or into the main ink hole which seems to also push down. I mean it seemed possible that the hole I just drilled was just to allow the air pressure to release while I filled through the main hole. So which hole is it that I was supposed to refill the ink through? That was another ambiguity. I realized after some research to refill through the hole I just drilled. Another trouble in my mind was the fact that the rubber plugs weren't included nor mentioned on the product page so I could have bought it in advance. After all this, I realized things are actually easy. Everything works great. I could just tape the hole and don't even really need the rubber plugs or a glue gun. But if all this was mentioned on the instruction, which was completely non-insightful, I could have saved some time. Now I know exactly what to do for next time, and I am pretty thrilled with the fact that I am going to save a bunch of money.

Always a good product from BCH
I have been using this ink to fill my Epson ET-2760 printer. It is an eco-tank printer but I found it easy to refill the bottles so I can use it for my printer. I never have any bad ink from BCH and have been using them for over 5 years now. Don't hesitate to make the purchase, it will save you a lot of money with ink and they have helpful videos.

A Really Great Product
Though this product didn't come with refill instructions I was able to go to BCH'S Cartridge page (support.bchtechnologies.com) which lists HP, Epson, Canon, etc. refill instructions. To refill my Canon PIXMA 492 printer's PG-245 cartridge I carefully peeled back the paper label, then I used an battery powered hand drill & very carefully drilled a hole in the 3rd space from the top on the right side in the middle of the slot (which is near the printer head) then I drilled a hole in the left side 3rd from the top, again in the middle of the slot, to let the air escape. Stop as soon as the hole is drilled; do NOT drill all the way through or you'll ruin your cartridge. I filled the syringe to the 5ml line then inserted the needle into the right hand side's hole until I could feel it touch something solid; I then slowly filled the cartridge then refilled the syringe to the 4ml & again refilled the cartridge. Then I carefully replaced the label & put a hole in both sides where I had put the holes so that air could escape when needed when printing. It took me less then 10 minutes to do the job. Cleaned the cartridge & now it works like a charm. Very pleased with this product. P.S. The kit came with a small drill & a larger drill; neither were strong enough to drill through the tough plastic easily.
