I think one of the best items on the market. Plumber that installed it also said he wouldn't have any problems installing the pump because of the reputation of the pump.

Exceeded my expectations in every aspect
I recently installed the ZOELLER Sump Pump 1/2 HP 115V Model # M98 in my basement macerating toilet, and I couldn't be more pleased with its performance. Made from durable materials, it feels well-constructed and capable of handling the demands of regular use. Pump Takes on Clouds Bursts
I used this pump for an exterior residential driveway drain. The pitch of the driveway and the force of a cloud burst was no match for pumps from other manufacturers. This pump really works. I highly recommend this pump for the hard work it has provided. It's not pretty and light weight but I needed power and I got it. If your looking for a light weight, at 28 LBS I would look elsewhere. I have only owned it for 2 months so I can't speak for longevity yet. But from the way it's built, it's in for the long haul. I have one small concern but I think there is a reason the company chose to build it this way. The legs are made of a heavy plastic and are currently supporting the weight. I suspect they wanted to keep it under 30 LBS. However, I would be careful about placing the pump considering the weight because the legs may fracture if not handled properly. So far so good.

Dependable. And solid.
My previous and current pumps are ZOELLER , so it makes sense to stay with the same. They have worked for years and years unattended. This one is for a battery-backed up pump for when PG&E turns off electricity, which happens when it rains.
