These are a replacement set. I must begin by saying I love Alvin products.They were not offering the practically indestructible set I actually wanted, and I doubt they even still make them. The "newer models" are simply more breakable and there isn't much I can do about that. Alvin still makes sturdier products than their competitors, in my opinion.I have to go with 3 stars though, because I waited a really long time (8 or 9 days) for what was should have been a two day ship, and then I received clear when I'd ordered the smoke tinted set. I didn't mind waiting because I did order right after the back-to-school rush, but to receive the wrong item after that long of a wait - and after I'd already chosen a substitute for the set I truly wanted - was unexpectedly disappointing for such a reliable company I have preferred for 30 years.I find the fully transparent items add dramatically to eye strain and therefore always opt for tinted products. I could have purchased any breakable, clear set in a brick and mortar and had them the same day.I will likely gift these to someone who doesn't mind that they are clear and re-order another tinted set for myself. Frustrating.I am still brand loyal, but perhaps I will not order via Amazon in the future.

Poor manufacturing. Alvin in name only. Made in India. Edges are not clean, these triangles will not draw parallel lines. Don’t waste your money.

The triangles have a nice beveled edge!
