Effective, don't go off unexpectedly, won't break your fingers
Really impressed and have murdered a dozen of the poor little buggers this winter with these traps.Peanut butter works great - just be careful to only put it on the little circular dish. I was a bit slap-dash first time and the critters chewed through the plastic frame to get it all, rendering one trap inoperable.Very easy and safe to use, excellent value.

Great product
Bought four of these and got the two mice that the cat bright in alive some weeks ago. Caught both on the first night using them. Really easy to use and because they are plastic, the trigger is hair line - the slightest pressure and the very strong jaws snap shut. These don’t come with bait (I didn’t realise) so I baited the traps with dried dog food pellets and they clearly worked just fine.

Would buy again
They do work well but I have found they either need more weight or have a hole in the base so they can be attached to wood. I have lost quite a few as the mice run off with them never to be found again

These work excellently on house mice
I have used these traps before. They work consistently and quickly on house mice. They come with poison bait in them but I add smelly blue cheese. You don't need a lot. House mice are stupid, greedy and heavy enough to set these traps off. The quickest success I have ever had was in a kitchen. I placed two traps along the skirting board a metre apart (facing the skirting board, about a centimetre out, to be able to get the mouse in either direction). I turned the kitchen light off, banged the door shut so the mouse would think I had gone to bed, and I stayed very quiet in the lounge. Twenty minutes later I heard a 'snap'. Bingo, one dead mouse. If you have a field/wood mouse you will need to add a small flat pebble as a makeweight because they are so light they won't set off the trap. Just wash them in washing up liquid when cleaning and putting them away. Use gloves so you don't get human smell on the traps (although it's never bothered house mice before). I totally recommend these traps. They work and they work quickly.

Works really really well 👏🏻
So easy to set and no risk of snapping your fingers !!!!! Note there is some bait under the little red cap. We caught 7 mice in 2 nights 🏆

Effective
Had a mouse problem. Now I don't have a mouse problem.

Most effective I've tried
Just fill the well with peanut butter and place sensibly inside or out (away from birds and hedgehogs). Never failed for me, very effective.

Doesn't always kill!
Chose to use these as they were more hygienic and easier than the wire little nipper traps. Sadly these don't always kill the mouse. Heard scurrying in the loft one evening so hoped a trap would go off. Left it all evening and went to work next day. Came back to find a mouse had been stuck in the trap alive with half it's head trapped with it panting and panicking. Had to sadly put the mouse out it's misery as it had been mamed by the trap. I wish I checked the trap sooner. Will be going back to the little nipper traps. Much tougher to set and clean but always gives a clean kill
