Hooyman 5-Foot Saw Carry Case

I'm a NYC Certified Citizen Pruner, and this case, along with the saw and the ratcheting pruning shears, are so convenient for urban tree pruning. I can have this case on my belt all day and not even feel it, but be able to whip out the saw and the shears on a moment's notice when I see a tree in need, and quickly prune it up to 15 feet overhead (I'm 6'2" and the saw fully extended is 5'). I take it with me everywhere I go and have gotten quite a few compliments on it.

At first I wasn't going to buy the carry case because it was quite pricey: however, I'm glad I did. It's very durable and a well built case. It has straps and hooks that attach to my climbing tree stand. I would definitely recommend spending the extra money to buy this case because of it's quality.

Haven't really use it yet but when I need those branches moved I think it will do it.

My husband loves this saw. I gave him the case as a surprise Christmas gift. He was surprised and thrilled!

It is what it is...it's a nice case for a saw. I've never rated one, but then, i guess i've never bought a saw that needed a fancy case. It's a nice case ?! i like the fastener, and different options to attach this thing to stuff, like a belt, or backpack, or whatever you pack in to the woods or camp.I don't particularly like to hunt with a lot of gadgets and bulky items, however, because it all goes up the tree with me and that can get a little unsafe even for the seasoned climber. But, if you're trip is strictly to hang a stand or cut shooting lanes prior to actually sitting on stand and hunting, this thing is very handy to have.

Have not used it in the outback, however, it appears better than I expected.

The case is very nice looking and I guess it will work well but I have not receaved the saw that goes in it yet

Nice case. Saw fits very well. Only thing is it should have come with Hooyman saw and not separate.
