Worked Perfectly
Just got back from a trip to Paris and Milan, including a layover in Iceland. The SIM card connected and worked perfectly at each location. I wasn't sure what speeds I was getting with it (I always had the R symbol showing for Roaming), though it felt like 3G-comparable as other reviewers have stated. It takes a few minutes to connect when changing regions, and I had plenty of data left at the end of 10 days from the allotted 2GBs. I made calls back home with Skype phone credits that I purchased separately, or would text people back in the US via Google Hangouts and have them call my Google Voice VoIP number (for some reason I was only able to receive incoming calls through it while overseas, but couldn't make outgoing calls to back home). Will definitely purchase again, unless something better comes along.

We had perfect service the entire trip
We used this in Paris, Athens and Rome. We had perfect service the entire trip. We used my husbands unlocked at&t iPhone 5s. We had att unlock the phone but what they didn't tell me until I called IT support is that they unlock the IMEI but you have to unlock your phone through iTunes too. You do a system restore and set up as a new phone on itunes, then restore from your backup. With an att SIM card inserted, you cannot change your carrier settings like the instruction said to do. But once we inserted the cell hire sim, it let us reset them. It didn't work at first so we restarted the phone and it was up and running! We only had ONE small issue in Rome where we couldn't get service for about an hour, but other than that no issues. We got the 2 gig card, used it for two weeks for mainly maps, to be able to send/receive iMessages, and to turn on the hotspot so I could check my messages. We came home only having used about 1 1/4 gigs of data. It won't last long if you're streaming video, uploading pics, constantly browsing social media, etc. but we had wifi in so many places so it wasn't an issue. I'd definitely recommend this!

Perfect, exactly what we wanted!
It worked great! Used this for a multi country Eurotrip and had perfect service in Norway, Spain, France, UK, Belgium, and The Netherlands. It's not LTE but definitely fast enough. Easy to set up. I would absolutely get it again. The only thing is we didn't end up using all 2 GBs so next time I would get the 1GB and just add extra data to it if needed. Also something to keep in mind, I am not sure if we just set something up wrong on our iPhone, but because this is a data SIM using this made it impossible to use iMessage on the phone, even with the email option only, since there was no longer a phone number associated with the device. We used Whatsapp instead, that worked fine.

Great product, easy to use!
I rented two of these cards, one for me and the other for my friend. I put quite a bit of stock into product reviews when deciding on a purchase so I was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews on these cards because while there were quite a few four and five star reviews there were also several one star reviews … with hardly any two or three star reviews. I wondered why the same product would receive two drastically different ratings. Since the four and five star reviews seemed to offer more specific detail around the product than the one star reviews my friend and I decided to give the Cellhire cards a try.Since I like it when customers write detailed product reviews I will try to do the same. My first bit of advice is to read the instructions – they are very easy to follow but if you don’t take the simple steps to set up your phone it will not work with the card. They tell you as much in the instructions. We both had the iPhones so we were not able to make the settings changes until we arrived in Ireland, but once there the steps to change the APN settings were identical to what was shown in the instruction card. Once we changed the APN settings our phones worked great. We traveled throughout Ireland and never noticed a signal loss, even along the west coast – which can be extremely rural in places. We used the phones primarily for maps and a bit of research, so the 1GB bundle was probably enough for both of us as neither of us needed to top-up. Before leaving we did log in to their top-up portal however, just so we knew the process in the event we needed to purchase additional data, this seemed to be a very simple process. My second bit of advice is to connect to local Wi-Fi networks whenever possible – it’s free in most cases and will not eat up your Cellhire card data bundle. We used the card while we were mobile, but at the end of each day we would try to connect via Wi-Fi to deal with e-mails, upload pictures, and place the occasional call back home via FaceTime. I am sure this Wi-Fi use was one of the reasons we did not need to top up our original purchase bundles. All in all we were very happy with the purchase and will use the service again on our next trip.

Worst deal/support ever!
I would rather give a negative one star review as that would have reflected my experience. This card never worked in any of the countries which I visited! Traveled to Turkey, Greece, Malta, Italy, France, and Spain in May, 2016. I have emailed, and called repeatedly but could not get adequate support! Came home after a month and unable to return item on Amazon! My phone was checked by my provider and verified not to be the cause. I would recommend you getting a card elsewhere!

Get this if you're traveling to Europe and want a nonstop connection with confidence.
Just traveled seamlessly with my unlocked AT&T Note 4 through Berlin, the UK countryside, London, the Chunnel and Paris. Amazing coverage without the hassle of having to get different sims for different services. For my use 2 gigs was twice what I needed for 2 weeks - I was mostly surfing and using maps (with them already downloaded for offline), a little bit of Skype calls, so in the future I would only get 1 gig and reload as needed (I stream almost no video or audio). There's a nice website to check for usage. The coverage was mostly 4G. Bottom line, until US carriers have attractive travel plans this is what I'll use hands down.
