It handles a 25-pound feed block with ease. Straps may be too short for larger trees. Advise carrying extra longer straps into the woods to secure block holder.Straps provided are very robust, actually rather heavy duty, but cannot go around trees larger than 8-10 inches in diameter.Simple design, well made and easy to load and install.Removable cover protects the feed block, fits tight and secure. Openings allow deer to feed easily and drain holes to allow any water to drain. Nice design, far better than other manufacturers, in my opinion.Just add wildlife and a game cam. Let the fun begin.

I was worried it may be less sturdy but it is really easy to use and hang and strong. I would recommend it to anyone.

Top doesn't fit particularly well but it does what I need and keeps the mineral block up off the ground. Goats really like it.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm using it to hold a deer block for feeding them around the clock. They mostly come after dark. I have a trail cam and noticed that the raccoons throw the cover on the ground, so it's not very secure. It does the job in keeping the block off the ground and the deer really seem to like it.It's been about 5 months and the feeder is falling apart (flimsy) and the critters have chewed some of the bottom. I have tried to reinforce with some wood around the inside of the bottom, but not sure that's going to do the trick. It is not able to support a 20 lb block without losing its shape and then the lid doesn't fit anymore.

Wish it was sturdy but once a 25 pound block is in it the top begins to buckle. Not sure how long it will last. Way to big for anything smaller than a large block

I put a small salt block in this. And it looks like its bent into a rainbow shape. I bought it because i have one of the capsule feeders. I learned the hardway with that p.o.s. too... unfortunately after i bought this and both FAILED. I sent an inquiry to customer service. No responce.... . Junk, garbage, and Buyer beware before buying capsule products...
