Arduino Model Railroad Signals: And Other Projects

As an electronics engineer I liked his projects. I liked seeing multiple Arduino projects. I think enough basic information is given that most people could make a go of his projects. Note I'm not a model railroad person, I wanted to see yet another application of Arduino technology. And this book fit the bill, I even learned a few railroading bits and pieces along the way.

I am editing my review to reflect my current experience. After having issues with the first project, the author assisted me and I am happy to upgrade my review to 5 stars. I also have tried the second project, using a photo sensor to trigger a signal and it worked perfectly.This is a book I was very happy to find. I've been interested in learning to use an Arduino in a model railroad setting and this book definitely helped me do just that.

I liked the arduino model rr specific discussion and coding suggestions but was hoping for a bit more depth and other applications. Good for getting started with arduino for a model rr.

An entire book dedicated essentially to showing you how to connect up an off the self signal tower and cycle through the three lights. Don't waste your money. I'm going to try to return it.

All in all was good subject but I wish their was more projects.

Starts the reader at a simple level and then slowly increases complexity. The examples are aimed at the model railroad audience.

J'avais acheté un guide "complet" de 628 pages qui était trop complexe pour moi, alors rien de mieux que de l'exercice pratico-pratique des frères Bradt! Ce bulletin m'a permis de développer d'autre programmation à partir des exemples, et de développer d'autres applications à partir des exemples présentés. Je suis très content de cet achat!

Livre totalement nul. Projet plus que basic. Aucune documentation sur les signaux ferroviaire donc on se sait ce que l on fait. Aucune idée pour les capteurs. La programmation ridicule. Je déconseille fortement
