I love these, had to replace the allen bolts with hex bolts because of clearance issues for tightening on the rails but excellent item. Much better than the cheesy u bolts that came with my toolbox.

Seems to work well with the Better Built tool box I purchased. Just don't go crazy tightening the hex nut. I would definitely buy it again if I needed to mount another box.

Has kept my toolbox secured so far. If you don't over tighten them, they won't crack. That's my thought.

These work great and you don't have to drill holes in the bed rails. They cannot be removed from a locked tool box. However, one of my last set broke after a few years, so the material could be a little stronger. A bit of alignment is required, but that is not difficult, just a little more installation time is evolved. "J hooks" are easier to install (no alignment required, will never break and are much cheaper. However, I still like these and ordered another set to replace the one that broke.

I gave it OK but never actually used it. The 12 dollar J hook system below on this page is much more versatile and easy to install - try that one first.

At the present time, this has proven to be a very good way to mount my truck tool box to the sides of my pickup truck without drilling holes in the truck body. The box is held securely in place.Dec. 2019 update - it has been 5 years since I bolted my truck tool box to the truck bed sides using these mounting blocks made by Better Built and they have not failed in any way. The box is mounted securely and it does not shift around.

Quality product. Would buy again.

Got it for tundra and better built tool box. Truck has factory rails and it worked OK. I was able secure the box. Four star is because clips could be designed better.
