We built a new house with laminate floors and noticed with the new office chair that we purchased from a local store that it was scratching the floor as the chair was rolling over the floor. We looked for solutions and found rubber wheels to be an option. We purchased these and they arrived boxed. We opened the box and went to install them only to find out that the caster didn't fit into the existing holes in the chair. We didn't realize that there were different sizes and after spending a little time drilling the holes out further, we were able to apply a little soapy water as a lubricant and they slid right in. We have been using them now for a few months without any issues at all. They roll over our floor quietly and without a problem. Great product.

These wheels are like a miracle. I have a hardwood floor, and my old plastic chair wheels were marking up the floor pretty badly. I thought about getting a chair pad, but those collect every piece of fluff and hair in the entire house. There are also at least twice the price of these wheels. I replaced the old plastic wheels with these in five minutes flat, and the problem was solved. The chair is quieter, it glides more easily, and it feels wonderful. It also does not mark the floor. My only regret is that I still get a little staticky, but that's probably because the chair has a polyester chair cover. Buy these right away. I try not to make huge promises, but these are really wonderful. You won't be sorry.

Great wheels but slightly smaller than the ones on my new La-z-boy office chair. And since it was this chair they were intended for, I ordered another set slight larger. These are 2-inch wheels and I thought they would be the ones I needed but I was wrong. So, I put these on a different chair and ordered the 2 3/8 - inch wheels of the same brand. These are perfect for hardwood floors. The wheels that come with the chairs look like hard plastic and sometimes they don't turn when they should and they wind-up being dragged sideways. It becomes hard to roll them around because of the lack of traction. These rubber-tired wheels don't have that problem and you can easily roll around in you chair.

These should be standard fare for all high end chairs with casters. I changed out the nearly identical looking casters on our expensive dining area chairs with these and everyone that has sat in one of those chairs could hardly believe the superb function of these casters. As soon as I had sat in one using these casters I immediately ordered more for my office chairs too. Nothing I've ever used rolls so smoothly and effortlessly and I'm a big fan opf roller chairs for everything. They also don't seem to pick up dirt and grit on the face of the wheels so they don't abrade the floors like most do.Best yet!

The wheel is made of hard plastic, similar to the wheels that come with the chair. I am not sure if it offers better protection to the hardwood floor. To be safe, I would suggest choosing wheel made of soft material such  zitriom Office Chair Caster Wheels for All Floors - Set of 5 Silicone Replacements with Universal Fit Standard Stem Diameter .It is very easy to install and moves smoothly. There is no issue.

These are AWESOME! I had a set of casters on my office chair that had metal shrouds, that had jagged edges... which would end up scraping/damaging my dress shoes. So I stopped wearing my good shoes to work. I can't believe I took so long to think of replacing them. I bought these. They came yesterday. The old ones popped right out... and these popped right in. They are perfect!!! Time to go buy some new shoes :)

I got these for my brothers client, he broke all 4 weels off of one of the chairs & had been looking for abour a year for replacements but couldnt find any, my brother was very happy when i found some for him, they have tryed them & liked them so much i am buying another set for other chairs that are not yet broke.

Wheels fit nicely and do not slide on the slick laminate flooring of our kitchen. Only a couple of weeks of light use at this point so can not speak to the longevity of this product.
