These tins are great looking but are not great, the lids seal well unless the the tin gets mis-shaped which given its quite flimsy metal its easy to dosecondly the bottom isn't great we had a sink overflow and soak the whole side the coffee tin took in water and the bottom cm of coffee turned into a single gooey blob the then for the next proceeded to leak out constantly all over the counter leaving thick coffee rings where ever you put it down
