Great book
I really loved the designs. The instructions were clear as were the illustrations that went with them. I would high recommend this book to anyone who likes to draw and wants to learn how to draw the Mandala Zentangles. They've fun to draw and color.

Trust the condition listed...
Opened my book today. For having purchased it from a third party I am ecstatic at the pristine condition. Absolutely perfect! My only complaint is seeing a sticker on the front cover showing 2 different sales prices. The lowest being $1.00. I'm very happy with the price I paid relative to the publishers price but... there is no better way to cause a buyer to feel buyers remorse. To say the least it's tacky.

Needs more information on mandalas, less on 'crafty' stuff
I wish that this book had more information about mandalas, which is what I would have expected, given the title. There is too much space given to stuff that has nothing to do with mandalas, such as using stencils shaped like unicorns and angelfish, or making greeting cards, and too little given to what mandalas are, what they mean, why you'd want to make them, or how to construct their layouts without resorting to limited, manufactured stencils. Come on, an art book should teach you how to create using materials that are less-determined--tools such as pens, pencils, paper, compasses, protractors, straightedges, watercolors, and so forth, rather than those that are just purchased designs. Someday, maybe someone will write a really good book about creating Zendalas. This book does have some good patterns in it, but it is missing what the title says it should deliver. Susanne Fincher's books on mandalas, combined with a book on Zentangle, such as Beckah Krahula's "One Zentangle a Day", are probably your best bet if you really want to delve into making Zendalas.

Best book on zentangle
Large book with plenty of practice areas to get you started on some unusual zentangles. Would recommend it to anyone who is new to this art form. Printed on good quality paper which can take colouring pencils and pens. Makes a good coffee table book to browse thru and encourage reader to have a go at zentangle.

A great book on zentangle
A great book on zentangle . some designs a little too complex for a beginner , hence only four stars , but lots of ideas for variations and extension activities if you are confident to progress.

Would have loved more precise tangles
I felt a bit disappointed with this book. I'm a perfectionist and thought too many of the patterns felt rushed, without an eye for detail. It seemed the shadings or blocks of colour were done quickly so the patterns were a bit tatty
