Aquarium Heater Guard Protector w/Suction Cups - Black

Was as expected aprox 8 inches long & fit over the rubber tip that was not removable from my heater. Comes in 2 pieces that twist together.works well for what it does cover, I can not say more because between purchase and receipt I got a new aquarium and a bigger heater. Waiting now for a bigger cover. My pleco keeps burning himself on the still open spot. Update* used in another tank found it to be very nice much sturdier than my longer one also I did not need to remove the rubber tip of the heater to fit in this item as with others that is a plus. I think it is safer and stays in place better.

I use these in my turtle tanks. I needed something that would protect the turtles from burning and protect the glass from shattering if bumped. This was the perfect solution.

Great product. Suction doesn’t work well for turtles

I used this to attach my CO2 system. It fits very well and makes it stay in position. I highly recommend it.

Doesn’t fit my thermostats. FYI, t’s a bit big for a 50W, Otherwise it would be great.

I smelled bad. I don't know what it was made of but there was no way I was going to put it in my aquarium.

This is the second one we ordered. This is great for our pleco who likes to hang out behind the heater. No more burns, and he can happily hang out where he wants.

Worked right the first time, I bought a tank used and the heater had no suction cups, this was just the trick. Plus keeps the heater just where I want it.

Took a bit to get here but great guards. If your suction cups don't work very well, if you don't want to crack on a rock or if you don't want to burn a fish (it dies happen) these are great. You can use these to help hold a above water heater in place and it works also for under water heaters. the one size is for about a 50w but you can separate the guard into two pieces for a longer heater.

Arrivé dans les temps. Ventouses qui tiennent bien dans l'eau. Prix correcte. Bien faire attention en achetant ce type de produit au diamètre des chauffages pour aquarium car ne convient pas pour toutes les marques

Ich habe das Teil jetzt schon eine ganze Weile in meinem Meerwasseraquarium im Einsatz. Bin absolut begeistert davon. Der Eheim 150 Watt Heizstab passt ganz genau in den Korb. Da wackelt nicht, da klemmt nicht, einfach super. Beim sauber machen des Glaskolbens, zieht man den Heizstab einfach aus dem Korb und fertig isses. Sollten die Saugknoepfe irgend wann mal nicht mehr halten (ist meiner Meinung nach bei allen Saugknaepfen der Fall, egal von welchem Hersteller) kann man die gegen alle handelsueblichen austauschen. Ich kann den Korb uneingeschraenkt empfehlen!!!! Kleiner Hinweis noch. der Korb geht nicht bis zum oberen Rand des Heizstabes, bei mir fehlen wegen der Laenge des Heizstabes (abhaengig von der Leistung) einige Zentimeter. Das ist aber unrelevant, da er nur den heissen Teil des Heizstabes abschirmen soll. Und das macht er bei jedem. Egal ob das jetzt ein 50 oder 300 Watt Heizer ist.
