to be on the safer side you should just hand wash it and hang dry it. It may shrink if you put in the washer and dryer cause it is made out of 90% cotton

it is to a certain extent I had to cut a slit around my nose so I can properly breath or else I feel like I'm being suffocated. Also you will heat up very easily due to it being made out of 90% cotton and it being quite thick the wind has a hard time going through but I was indoors when I wearing it so I can be wrong. Overall it is a good quality product I still have mine and I got mine about two years ago and it is still holding strong
