This stove is perfect for an emergency kit. It is portable, easy to set up and use, and very compact. The butane canisters it uses are easily available at hardware or camping supply stores. It does everything the bigger stoves do at a much lower cost. Be sure to have a heat-resistant surface (I use tiles) to put it on as the whole unit gets very hot.

This isn't anything special and you get what you pay for. You aren't going to be running this thing over with your car or anything. But if you use it appropriately it works well. I'm almost through my first can of fuel and it's worked exactly as expected each time. Temperature control is nice and quick and there's a wide range, though I wish it could go just a little bit lower.The case for it is really cheap but does the job of making it easy to store away when not in use.

Works perfectly! Took 5 seconds to slip the butane canister in, lock it, ignite, and get the burner going. Super easy. Nice flame. Can't wait to use it when I go car camping next weekend!!

Used it twice so far and worked as intended and simple to use with no glaring flaws.

I do alot of fishing and camping. This stove fits the bill perfectly. Butane is a bit hotter than propane so you can cut the temp down and save fuel even though the butane canisters are smaller. Great fit for up to 4 or 5 liter pots and smaller or fry pans cast or others to 12 inch. This stove can even handle some wind but as like most needs protection from high winds. Love the case as it provides protection when it is bouncing around in the boat or truck.
