At Home at Highclere: Entertaining at The Real Downton Abbey

Rather a curious book, it has lovely stories about the people who have visited, along with some beautiful photos of the house itself, and it also has a variety of recipes in, which I was not expecting but was a nice surprise. Personally, I was hoping for more background about the house, but overall a nice book

Highly recommend this book. It is of a very high quality with so many interesting aspects that it makes for compelling reading. The images are of fine quality which enhances the total layout of the book. Not only is the book a wonderful gift item it is also a wonderful gift to one's self.

Fabulous book, well written with great recipes and lovely pictures. I read it like a novel cover to cover, highly recommended. Going to buy the Christmas book now!

A well-written and fascinating book about Highclere and its family over the eras and some smashing recipes too - a really lovely book.

Loved Downton Abbey so have enjoyed reading up on the real life at Highclere.
