Great value, little tedious to assemble but worth it
As long as the shipping is good (and mine was, as they guys who delivered it were careful in placing it down on the ground and not dropping it!) then you are good to go. The box is extremely heavy and says "2-person carry." I was only able to carry it myself a short distance before just opening it up and carrying the parts to where I wanted to assemble it. It's like Ikea furniture, as you need to spend a little over an hour putting it together carefully, but the instructions are very clear and the parts are well-labeled - and it even comes with extra parts (which I didn't need). They even put in stickers to put over the metal screws inside, so that when you are done you wouldn't even know by looking at it that it's compressed material - at least I thought that was a nice finishing touch and shows that they took time to think about the finishing details. I got two of them, so put one together on day one and the other together on day 2. You have to be careful not to over do it when screwing in things, as it's made from compressed material so I used a drill at the lowest setting and the instructions say "do not use drill" because if you had a drill without adjustable settings you would probably destroy it. I just took my time and was careful and it worked out fine. It's a lot of screws to put in, some of which use a hex screw so I was thankful for my drill bit that fit the hex and made quick work of that task! They look great in the end, and certainly worth the sale prices which are an excellent value for what you get. Very sturdy as well. Says it will hold up a TV on top up to 100 pounds, and I think that's understating what it will do once you have it all assembled. I don't see it falling apart once you get it all together. I'd buy it again (and in fact I just ordered another one in white)! UPDATE: they've held up very well over time. I would warn you that the tops will scratch if you put things on top that rub them but we've been very careful not to put things on top that may scratch it and ours are still looking good. Definitely worth the money.

Mostly easy to assemble
Because this was sent by the manufacturer (makes sense....this thing weighs 96 lbs!!!) it took a little longer to arrive than I'm used to. Well worth the wait!!! I love everything about this piece...the style, the generous, but not overwhelming size, the storage. It fits PERFECTLY in my mid-century modern style dining room. As for the assembly...The first thing I noticed was "Two people are recommended for ease in the assembly of this product." PFFFFTTTT!!!! I'm female, 4'10", weigh less than 100 lbs., and assembled this credenza all by myself. All you have to do is follow one step at a time. Resist the urge to read ahead. Prior to starting, line up each numbered piece in order. For the components, have a shallow box ready, and put each packet in alphabetical order. Do not open any packet until ready to use, and if it's going to be used more than once, place it back in the box in its alpha order. The reason for the box is to corral any components that escape their packet. I assembled the piece in just under 2 1/2 hours - which is more time than I usually require to assemble a cabinet. What ate up my time were two things: Piece #1, which is the top of the credenza, has pilot holes on the underside at the front of the credenza. There are two pilot holes on the right inside top front, and two on the left. They are for the door stoppers. (Part E) The instructions require you to screw those pieces in after the top of the credenza is securely in place, which puts you at the disadvantage of working against gravity. I see no reason why those door stoppers could not have been affixed prior to securing the top onto the credenza. The second issue that ate up my time was affixing the door hinges onto the four doors. The pilot holes for the screws are barely a divot, and those doors are made of a much denser material than the rest of the cabinet. The door hinges at the top or each door are assembled prior to inserting the doors into the frame. The lower door hinges are assembled after the door is inserted into the frame. You will thank me for this tip: Take the time to create your own pilot holes (at exactly the spot the manufacturer placed the too-shallow pilot holes) on both the top and bottom inside of the doors with one of the screws provided to attach those hinges. Do this prior to attempting to attach any of the hinges. I really like the aesthetic of this piece....I was especially pleased that the manufacturer thought to have the doors aligned so that the reverse chevron of the wood grain would be featured. Speaking of aligning....my doors are a bit off, but I'm confident that I'll be able to get the better aligned by adjusting the hinges just a bit. Highly recommend!!!

Holes are in the right position. Other posters are wrong
Easy to put together. Looks good. Only complaint is the doors aren't 100% symmetrical. First off to address the headline and others' reviews. I had originally thought the same thing, HOWEVER, there are two back pieces both labeled #6. Although they're both lentils that, they do go to specific sides. If you have them on the wrong side, only one set of holes will line up. If you switch them they line up perfectly. The whole thing goes together very easily and it looks great. Getting something this big and that looks this nice is impossible at anything even at twice the price. Sure it's coated MDF like you'd find at Ikea, but it looks GOOD. We use this to house our electronics for our wall mounted tv, dvds, photo albums, video games, and use the top for display. It works great for that. It's plenty sturdy and could hold a large TV on top without issue as well as any electronics you can cram inside it. It doesn't have holes for your wires, but that's quickly fixed with a hole saw or paddle bit. The doors on ours didn't perfectly align, even though we installed them the same on all corners. I wish there was height adjustment to dial them in instead of just width adjustment. It looks good enough and is within 1/8" but I'd prefer it perfectly lined up. For the price, you can't beat it. Definitely a buy as long as you're not an idiot.

The assembling was a little bit complicated! The quality is not perfect but it’s good. All in all I’m happy with my purchase! It looks so beautiful and modern!

Shipping box was not damaged but there’s a big dent on the side. This could have been created while manufacturing or during packaging. Follow the introductions carefully cos if you missed one, it will not make sense for the next few steps. Instructions manual can definitely be improved. DO NOT use Lysol/ antiseptic wipes or cleaning chemical on the surface. It will start peeling. Place a vinyl sheet on the top if you are going to put plants or drinks on the top of the sideboard, to protect it from surface peeling. Overall, it looks really good and serve it purpose.

The doors don't line up perfectly, but it hardly noticeable. Inside there are white stickers to cover the screws, but the stickers are just cheap paper, that is already starting to fall off. Overall I am very happy with the purchase, as it looks great and not too expensive.

It looks fantastic once it’s put together..... unfortunately building it was terrible nothing lined up very poor assembly holes etc not matching. And there was also a huge defect on the left side board so it looks like there’s a hole there now...I’m disappointed but nothing I can do now it’s all put together..only positive to this furniture is it does look modern which I like.
