Good piece of gear
It's comfortable, seems to be well made with good air flow, even during hard workout.I cycle in the Middle East where it can be very dusty (hence the reason for buying the mask). The mask fits well and iscomfortable to wear. The air flow is very good and it seems to work well. The only downside is you have to remove themask to hydrate, which, in a hot environment is a bit problematic, but that's just life. Happy biking!

It was a good idea and well-executed.
I use this all spring and summer (currently living in Seoul, where breathing the air is about like smoking a pack of cigarettes a day) and really like it.It does reduce some performance over time, since any filter naturally restricts airflow, but being able to ride my bike thinking that I might not be taking years off my life makes it worth it.I also noted that it work great for warmth/moisture retention in the cold winter air (though I keep that kind of riding to a minimum). Having the filter on riding in the cold prevents that dry cough and (to some extent) the runny nose that heavy breathing in cold air might normally be expected to cause. The filters are rated and replaceable, so the mask is a bit more of an investment that the disposable ones you sometimes see during the heavy dust season. The large (for me) was not quite large enough to fully cover my lower face, so it's a bit snug - if they have an extra large, I might eventually get one of those when this on wears out. It was a good buy just the same.

Product is two small, sorry i'm so large. Now its a love hate thing....
....The mask is nice and well put together, the problem is the material smells a but much and its too small, I've wrote to the seller, however didn't from anyone. so now i have to return it. There really should be some kind of measuring chart, i hear these things run small. so contact the seller to make sure you get the right fit.

Finally, A quality product!
Okay wow. I love this thing! My only true concern was with the fit. I got the large size and it fits wonderfully with room to spare/adjust as needed. Looks really cool and is easy to tell this is a quality item. I thought it came with 2 filters but maybe I misread something. I got the Sportsa model because it is designed for heavier breathing. Works very well and will re-update in 30 days. Hope Amazon has a dash button for the filters lol

Junk!
Respro should be ashamed to sell such junk.1) The valves on the side are always open. The flaps only close if you suck in real hard, they do not close with normal breathing, so you are not actually accomplishing any air filtration by wearing this mask. (note that the valves on the one I got last year look different from what is now shown on the picture. I wonder if they've fixed this problem?)2) It is small. I have a small head and this barely gets to the edge of my chin, and only part of the velcro overlaps behind my head. It had no size options listed when I bought it in the beginning of 2013.That being said, I am actually able to get this to seal around my face fairly well, and keep it out of the way of my glasses. It's not real comfortable, but it's the only thing I can get to work at all. I took off the valves, put gorilla glue over each flap to keep it squished down, and put them back in after they dried. I'd prefer to have that area be breathable filter area, but at least it's not letting in unfiltered air.It does take a little effort to suck air through it, but not too bad if you're not working real hard (which is unfortunate, because I got it for working on fires). It cuts down the smoke just a tiny bit. I'm really not sure how much it helps. The neoprene does off-gas when it's new, but that goes away.

Great exercise mask.
This is my second one. It is mask developed for aerobic exercising in polluted air. It is very breathable, and can keep up with all but very high levels of aerobic exercise. My first one was for polluted air while in China, but has worked equally well for the Covid situation. It has a tight fit around the face, so only filtered air comes in, and the filter is designed for sub-2.5 pollution particles, so it should also the Covid virus. None of my other masks is anywhere close to being as breathable during exercise.

Decent, but not perfect
I bought this mask because I need something to wear while mowing the lawn (allergies to grass and tree pollen). I've used it several times in the hot, hot Central Indiana summer and it does keep me from having sneezing fits during and after mowing. However, the mask is pretty hot even with the ventilation. My mask was completely saturated by the time I mowed and trimmed my 1/8 acre lot. Although, I'll deal with that if I can breathe! It takes awhile to get used to the strap since it runs under the ears. I think comfort and fit would be greatly improved if an over-the-head adjustable strap was added (hence the four stars). Even if you get the mask perfect and the nose piece bent correctly, it will eventually slip down and begin pulling down on the bridge of your nose.Size was almost a little too small for my face. I wear a 7.5 in a hat and have an average chin (5'-10", 220#), but the mask sometimes lets air in on the sides if I move around a lot. I think I would have went with a x-large from the Respro website if I did it again.

very helpful
I love running but I have asthma, serious allergies, and live in a city with quite poor air quality. Generally in the fall and spring this combination leads to such discomfort or respiratory infections I have to stop running. On the recommendation of a friend I bought this mask and it has made a huge difference. It is great at filtering out dust and road grime especially. Also keeps the air I'm breathing warmer and moister which is great when it gets really cold. It is pretty comfortable, enough so that once I get going I stop noticing it is on. Sometimes have to reposition it, but nothing that compromises its purpose. I get lots of double takes (including police) but it is worth it.Not a cure for all my respiratory problems but definitely makes things easier and more comfortable with outdoor activities.
