Very thought provoking and helpful information that I believe will be very helpful for a successful marriage. Very helpful for making sure that you are on the same path and have the same expectations, values and goals. Just because you assume that your expectations are the same doesn’t mean that they are, you should make sure and this work book will definitely help!

This book helped me realize the needs my spouse has are not the same as mine. Respect is needed to have love and this book really opened my eyes.

Helps a lot with your marriage and your relationship with your partner

My husband and I purchased this set (book and workbook) with the intention of working through it together. As life goes we got busy, read the first few chapters, then it began collecting dust on the bookshelf. Our Sunday School class was in need of a study so I approached our Sunday School teacher and suggested this set (book and workbook). We have spent the last 2 weeks working through the first chapter. My husband and I are actually making the time to sit down with each other and read the chapter then work through the workbook together so we will be ready to discuss on Sundays. It is amazing how much better we are getting along and able to resolve our differences since we have started this book. I am anxious to see where it takes us since we have just started the study!!

An important companion to the original book.

For people saying this more about the guys, that's simply not true. If you go in with an open mind it's not like that. If you go in expecting that, a closed mind, that's what you will get out of it.An amazing study for both sides.

Read this book before we got married. It helped me understand my future husband better. 12 years later bought it as a gift for a friend that’s getting married.

As expected

Me and my future partner are currently going through this workbook along with the book. I must say, I totally disagree with DLR's review. The workbook isn't repetitive, it's simply referring you to what you read in the book. The workbook offers much more thought-provoking questions and tasks, which, when done properly (ideally with your spouse) you'll build an unshakeable foundation. We are doing this prior to marriage and it has already helped us to resolve situations with love and respect still present. Wife, do you need to feel loved? Husband, do you need to feel respected? I know the answer is yes, so you absolutely NEED this book for the sake of your marriage - your team!
