It's a tool that's supposed to make life easier when putting the grounds in and distributing with a wdt tool or whatever, but it leaves a gap around the edge of the grounds (as it intrudes into the basket), meaning that when you remove it you have to redistribute again by tapping or whatever.There's other funnels that don't do this, so your better off getting one of them, and just having to do the distribution job once.

Does its job, no problems.Sturdily built, fits a 54mm basket perfectly.Shallow enough to be easy to store, deep enough to direct grinds in to the basket effectively.No annoying crevices for grind to work its way into.Not sure how well the magnets work, but they aren't really important.
