I love the illustrations! This book describes different fairies and gives readers concise descriptions in a whimsical fashion. I’ve had this book for years and I still read it and use it often for writing inspiration!

Wonderful and Filled with Enchanting Information :)
I love how there's so much fairy lore and legend that I haven't read about or known that is included in this book :)I had thought of myself as being fairly well versed in fairy tales and legends, but I had no idea that the tunes of The Londonderry Air (the tune of Oh Danny Boy) and of The Fairy Dance of Scotland were from the Good Neighbors. And there are so very many pieces of lore that I hadn't known which are woven throughout the familiar details written into these pages. Details I recall reading about from books when I was a teenager (I'm in my 30's now). The pictures are whimsical and cute :)For any person who still makes wishes and leaves little gifts for the Good Folk, or for anyone who wants to learn a little more about the legends that inspire so many writers and creators these days, I would recommend this book. :)

This book is filled to the brim with fairy knowledge including what they like to eat
If you REALLY want to know about fairies, then this is the book you need to read! I knew that there where quite a few types of nature spirits but I did not know there were that many! This book is filled to the brim with fairy knowledge including what they like to eat, wear, what to do and what not to do as to not offend them, and last be not least: how to find, attract and connect with them. What impressed me the most was the authors (correct) knowledge of the old ways. Getting to the TRUE base of fairies and not the reversed hoo-haa that a certain religion has lead many to believe.Again, I HIGHLY recommend this book!

Wonderful Fairy Illustrations
What we like best about Teresa Moorey's The Fairy Bible is the illustrations by Nick Harris, Jon Goode, James Holderness, and Dean Spencer, which are delightful. For us the book is another tome added to our library of reference books on myth, faerie lore and magic. This is not a book we've read cover to cover and we unlikely to ever do so, but instead will dip into here in there as intuition and inspiration moves us.But there is plenty here for those wishing suggestions about connecting to Faerie and Faerie kind, and if that is what you are looking for you will not be disappointed. Still, it is the illustrations that call these elves back to it again and again, bringing a smile to our lips and a bit of joy to our hearts. The Silver ElvesAuthors of The Elven Tree of Life Eternal: A Magical Quest for One's True S'Elf

I do believe in fairies! I do! I do!
Once again, another spectacular book from the bible series. I found this book to be absolutely delightful, if not a bit educational. I have read other books on fairies and actually already knew most of what I found in this book; however, I am still glad to have added it to my collection as it is perfect for loaning out to beginners and for quick reference. Though the intent of the text is to teach people how to incorporate the Fair Folk into their lives and work with them as spiritual companions, the bulk of the book is dedicated to fairy lore from various cultures, making it a good read even for people with no interest in contacting the Good People. Overall, the book has a new age, feel good vibe to it with definite Pagan undertones. I liked a lot of the author's ideas for connecting with the fairies, like creating fairy altars, and I think people of any faith can put them to use. The only problem I had, which is why this book gets four stars instead of five, is that the author completely overlooks the dangerous side of the Fae and gives no information about the rules of proper human-fay etiquette. Other than that, this book is a great addition to the library of any fairyphile or fan of the series.

Arrived in New condition!
I ordered this from the offers Amazon sometimes has for used but good condition for a cheaper price. I'm never disappointed & this book is no exception. Is in new condition. If you can take advantage of a lower price offer from Amazon, I recommend doing it. I've never had a problem with the items I've gotten. It's just a fun book if you believe in fairies, gnomes & the like haha. My granddaughter enjoys it too.
