I wish I could give this 10 stars! This product, as my husband put it - "was one of the best purchases I've made" for our 1 year old son.We just recently had a small family birthday party for my son. Our house is small, so I was concerned with space - my house alone having space issues, and then having this large ball pit on top of that, limiting what little standing space I had in my living room. I couldn't have been more wrong. While yes, it did take up space, but it became the focal point of his party! All the kids wanted to play in it! It kept my other nephews (ages 2 and 5) entertained all day. Even the big kids (12 and 14 years old) as well as adults, enjoyed playing in it with the little kids. My son loves it and loved having others play with him in it.I am so happy I found this product! The large size of it, is worth the investment. You can fit a few kids in there at a time, and its even big enough to fit an adult.I also really like how some of the sides are a screen allowing you to see inside, and some are not see through. I've gotten down on the floor and played peek-a-boo with my son in it. I'll hide behind one of the sides where he can't see me, then quickly move to the next screen panel (so he can see my face) and surprise him! He loves that game!This really does fold up nice and small back into the travel bag (about the size of a Frisbee). You can even fold some of the panels in, while keeping the balls in it, and make it smaller (for space purposes only - it won't stay that small for playing in it, but nice to make it a little smaller without having to remove all the balls).I went with some other reviewer's recommendation on getting 400 balls. Its just enough to cover the entire bottom of it with a single layer of balls. As he gets older, I'll probably invest in another 400, but for now, the single layer is perfect. So I would agree, you would want at least 400 balls for this.My 1 year old can also crawl in and out of this, on his own, with little difficulty. This is great because I don't have to constantly keep putting him in and taking him out. The side panels are very flimsy, so easy for him to push down and get in and out. I love that!This is not designed to be a play pen, so don't count on the structure being strong enough to keep a child confined, but its so much fun, they won't want to leave! Thank you for making such a great product! I plan on buying more now as gifts!

This pit is AWESOME!!!! My kids and myself included have had countless hours of fun. This pit is much larger than some of the others that I found online. I bought 1,000 pit balls and it barely covered the floor. We ended up filling it with stuffed animals until I can get more of the pit balls. It is by no means made of heavy duty material so I wouldn't recommend super rough play. It is very easy to fold back up and its so compact that you can store it anywhere. For the price this is an excellent product especially when its too cold for the wee ones to go outside and play and you need something different for them to do. When they wear this one out I WILL get another one!!

I knew this would be a flimsy ball pit, after all, it’s just wire and thin fabric/mesh. So my problem isn’t “this pit is so flimsy”. My problem is that this tent arrived with snags in the mesh, and after being used for a little while (by a one year old baby- not a big kid) those snags turned into rips, which turned into holes. I’m so disappointed in this manufacturer. If you are looking for just a pop up ball tent (nothing fancy), I would tr a different brand.

Just ordered my second pit. First one lasted over six months, quite surprising considering what my toddler and dogs put it through. I like this style because I can grab it to where it's elongated and smush it into a closet with all the balls still in it (so yeah it survived 6+months of that as well) the sides eventually stretched a bit but that only made it easier for my toddler to get in and out. We started out with 900 balls which was enjoyable, just added another 400 which really filled it nicely. Want to get another 400 eventually then we may be set.

Good quality, perfect size, and easy to break down. Only bad thing is the walls collapse easy if pulled on. So if you plan on using this to help keep the kiddos in THEY WILL BREAK OUT.

My daughter had purchased bags of playballs over the summer and used them in a small inflatable wading pool so my granddaughter could play with them. The pool was finally put away, but she still wanted to play indoors with the balls. The tent is perfect. So entertaining. And the sidewalls are not so stiff that my 15 month granddaughter can't go in and out on her own. She loves it.

Very large. Great ballpit. I bought for my sons 1st birthday and the kids loved it. The older kids were way too rough with it so bent the sides a little so it is def not made for older kids (which I didn't intend for it to be) but perfect for babies-3 years old. They loved it. I had about 4 large garbage bags of balls and it filled up half way. We will be using this at home

Got this product so my daughter would have some space to play and have toys to play with that are okay for her to play with (unlike everything else she seems to want to play with) and so far she loves it! she can move around freely and when she gets bored with one ball she moves right on to the next instead of moving on to my laptop or phones charging cable!!!
