Easy assembly - good little cars
Bought to assist for my son’s science fair project. We put together a battery powered car and a solar powered. Pretty easy to assemble and cars worked great. Not a ton of instruction for all of the types of cars you can build with the kit.

Good kit to illustrate energy conversions
The media could not be loaded. I bought this kit for my child's science class and would recommend the product. The models were straightforward to assemble (for me), but my 10 year old needed quite a bit of assistance in putting the pieces together. All models worked well, the size of the models made them easy to handle, there was variety in the models to help understand energy conversions from solar to electrical and electrical to motion, chemical energy to electrical, electrical to motion and wind to motion. The solar buggy also helped in illustrating how the drive mechanism in a car works. It was a lot of fun putting the models together. My child enjoyed playing with the models and learning about energy conversions.

Everything works great
I wasn’t sure what to expect considering the mixed reviews, but I was really impressed. Everything worked great including the solar panel pieces. My children play with two that are battery operated, and while I do stress the importance of being careful with them, the car and plane have held up remarkably well. The instructions were very clear and we followed them carefully in assembly and we love the result. I would describe all of them as delicate, but I felt like they were a great educational tool and my children love them.

ok project for time filler
This was a fun kit to do with my kids who enjoyed the project of assembling them. First one with the airplane were excited and thought to go all out and paint it. It worked great!Unfortunately, one of the solar powered cars DIDN'T work which was a let down. We Charged the battery by putting it in sunlight for 48 hours hoping it was a quick fix but nothing. Kids lost interest after that and haven’t gotten to the last two of the 4.
