Well made dust filters
These dust filters are well made and can filter very fine particles. I used to buy cheap ones like these but the magnets usually separate and are somewhat flimsy. These are stiff and sticks well

Neat and tiday - decent value for money
Worked great to tidy up the modification to fit an 80mm fan to a plastic enclosure. It would be nice if the mounting screws were just a hair longer - I managed to get them to engage on the fan and hold both pieces onto the side wall of the enclosure but only just

Required Accessory for Pet Owners
Please people, buy filters. Keep them clean. Your PC will thank you. These are great filters - fine enough to filter small dust without being overly restrictive. Many filters are so large they'll filter pet hair but hardly any dust. These are the perfect size, easy to clean, and have sufficient magnets to hold them in place.

Perfectly functional economy filter.
Got this for the top fan bays in my case since I am installing a liquid cooler. Even though the air blows out where these fans will be, I wanted something to keep debris from getting in when its off. The plastic seems a tad flimsy, and the mesh is a little wrinkly. I tried heating the mesh with a hair drier and it seemed to work to tighten it up a bit. Functionally, this filter is perfectly fine. It's magnets stick, and the mesh seems fine enough. Reasonably priced for your everyday case, but if you are after something solid and showy, you would probably care to spend a little more.

The best hands down! Unrestrictive, magnetic and does its job.
As said in the headline its by far one of the best filters I have used. Its ultra fine material that's secured using a plastic "lid" and a magnetic label of some sort, it held on pretty well but you have to be careful because it can begin to unpeel at the corners, this tends to happen if you wet the filter to clean it so I would advise against cleaning it with water and if you do be careful.I used this filter specifically for a unique setup I had in a NZXT H500, I had 2 140mm fans in the front and 1 120mm in the rear, but no fan at the top, so I used this filter at the top were another fan would usually sit. Why? Because this setup allows minimal dust intake and allows the CPU cooler to passively radiate head upwards if it can't get out fast enough, as a bonus it also allows the rear fan to intake air from the top if its starved for air.Basically the filter's only job is to stop dust from falling into the case but allow the heat to radiate upwards, and it worked perfectly!

Very adaptable dust filter
Purchased 3 of these filters for 3 different computers. Both my husband's Antec case and my daughter's Corsair have two exhaust fans on the top of the case. His has two installed 120mm fans, and her's has mounts for 2 140 mm fans, only one of which currently has a fan installed. This filter worked very well for both computers. I used the third on my older Gateway, which has an oblong grid of holes on the side of the case to provide airflow for the after market heat sink fan on the CPU. This filter easily covered the larger grid holes with room to spare. The magnets make it a snap to both install and remove for cleaning. The mesh is fine enough to prevent pet hair and the majority of dust bunnies access to your sensitive components. I haven't noticed any significant decrease in airflow. The frame was sturdy and the product appears to be made well. This is a cheaper alternative to Demciflex filters for places that don't require large areas. I did have to order a Demciflex for the side of my daughter's Corsair case because the 200 mm fan grid is HUGE. But this Silverstone works great for more standard fan combinations. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Honest review of Silverstone Tek 140mm x 2 Fan Filter (FF142B)
Up front, note that the dimensions advertised are not correct. Advertised as 13" x 6" x 1/4".Actual dimensions are 12.5" x 6" x1/4".I based the purchase on the size as advertised to get complete coverage. The result I had to settle with from this purchase is a total of a 1/2" not filtered (1/4" inch each side). At least most of the intake fans are covered, better than nothing. It would look better also if there were an exact fit based on dimensions advertised. The filter will slide down and fall off due to gravity. Magnets are weak for a side or front intake.Top fan intake use would be fine. I had to use on the length one each top and bottom, small adhesive cable management clip to hold in place. I have several from a kit I bought. Solved problem to keep filter screen in place but doesn't doesn't make for a professional look. It's not too bad because my case is black and so are the clips I used. It does make it more difficult to remove and install between cleanings of the dust filter.Dust filter mesh is like fabric, which is what I wanted to catch any dust. When cleaning be gentle. Due to fine mesh material, you want to clean often to keep airflow free flowing, therefore pay attention not to let it get too dirty. This dust filter may raise the fans RPM a little bit, but my system fans are really quite anyway and won't be noticeable. Cleaning the dust filter screen is a lot easier than cleaning the entire system due to no dust filter at all.One review I read said the filter screen separated from the frame. If I see any sign of that happening, I will beef up the filter screen edge with a hot glue gun.Overall, if the dimensions were as advertised so I got the exact fit I wanted and the magnets were stronger? I would be a totally happy camper. Because dimensions are not as advertised and magnets are weak for front or side mounting options... I have to give it 3-1/2 stars.
