This is the large bonding system anode we use on 30ft to 40ft boats. Good thickness and large size so it does not have to be replaced as often.

Switched to Aluminum last season instead of Zinc. Purchased for the main, tabs and shafts. Went on as easily as the old ones came off. Did the job and then some. I'm in brackish water, so I expected a lot of nastiness when I hauled out. A quick blast with the power washer, and they look like new. Items were shipped fast, and without issue.

This product does a terrible job protecting aluminum as it has the same potential for electrolysis corrosion as the supposed aluminum being protected. The second issue that the base metal is stainless steel, but a cheaper magnetic grade of stainless that corrodes in salt water. Once it starts to corrode, electrical continuity is lost with what you are trying to protect, rendering this supposed corrosion protection device absolutely useless. I will not use this again nor recommend anyone to use it. Learn from my mistake as I’m looking and at over $10,000 in repairs! Made in China should have been my first clue!

Check your dimensions carefully and order correctly, this is a great Anode and competitive price.

Fits perfectly. Should work well this summer.

It was sized wrong for my application, cutting was required. the actual use has been as expected.
