CPHQ Exam Secrets Study Guide: CPHQ Test Review for the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality Exam

I purchased the CPHQ Exam secrets study guide for my quality management future success. i read this book halfway and i liked it so much. it has very easy to read contents and easy to apprehend. i am gving ratting of 5 to of 5. i will recommend this book to all my colleagues for success. it has given good strategies and tips for better grasping the concept. this book will definitely help to achieve your goals.

So far the study guide has been very beneficial in kicking off my study sessions for the CPHQ certification exam. This is a great introductory book with a lot of useful definitions and tips as a basis for content on the exam. I feel as though this book, paired with one other are fundamental to passing the exam. More specifically, I found the practice questions toward the end of the book very helpful. These not only helped show me the format of some of the questions but I also feel a little more confident with the more application based material.

This is an excellent introduction to all the basic themes and concepts tested by the CPHQ exam. However, being new to the field, I definitely found it to be insufficient, too concise. I needed to research the concepts presented in this guide further. I used it as a foundation for my studies and greatly expanded my knowledge and understanding of the material by researching it further on line and through various less expensive resources. If you are willing to do this, it is definitely a more economical way to go than to pay for the "official" preparation books offered by NAHQ. Additionally, some concepts definitely require examples or visual illustrations, such as different kinds of charts. If you are new to those, the guide will not allow you to fully understand them. Finally, I would say that the sample test in the back of the study guide is not very useful. I felt that the questions on the actual exam differed substantially in how they were designed. I found the practice test available for purchase on the NAHQ web site much more helpful. I passed the test on the first try. Good luck in your studies and on the test!

I havent gone through complete reading, but so far..i am so pleased and happy that i bought this book. I do have 2 other books on CPHQ but none of them are objective centered and easy understandable. I love this book and tests and answers given on back is very impressive. Language is so easy to understand and also having short and sweet explanation of each topic. My only concern is if i can get some more video tutorials to understand topics..would be great

This book is the best material that I have come across for this exam. The information is well-written and there are a lot of practice questions with explanations about the answers. The test taking tips are extended on their web link.The size of the book makes it easy to bring along, I cannot recommend this resource enough- do yourself a favor and buy this book-you won't be sorry. I take my exam next week and finally feel prepared,

I love how the Study Guide is condensed, would love to see it in a smaller size so that I can throw in my purse easier, but otherwise both books are great! I have been working in Quality for a year and it has also helped me learn how to do my job better, so I would recommend for any new person in the Quality field.

Not nearly as in depth as I was expecting. This is a high level overview. Would be helpful to have more information on different types of graph and data, as well as clinical examples as much of the test is based on applicability. The practice tests were a big bummer. Not at all like the actual CPHQ practice test.

I purchased this in September. Before I even started, I took the test questions in the back of the book to get a baseline and to identify the areas I needed more education with. Then, I read the entire book and then did the practice questions a few more times. I would not use this book as my only means of preparing for the exam: I also read all of the 5 Q-Solutions books put out by NAHQ. There are new ones coming out soon, so if you are going to buy those, hold off and make sure you get the newest versions (probably out in 2018). I also reviewed the Six Sigma Memory Jogger II and The Six Sigma Way Team Fieldbook. I also purchased the CPHQ Exam Practice Questions. I also received a study guide from my quality class professor, who has a CPHQ. I generally do not do well on these types of tests, but I did pass on the first attempt. I want to believe all of this preparation helped me pass, but honestly, I think it really was the many years of experience working in healthcare (8 years in a quality environment, being a Six Sigma Black Belt and facilitating projects) is really what pulled me through.

Bad source for CPHQ Test, not enough

This just does not work on Kindle, it is more like a PDF format with lots of strain on the eye . You can't flip pages , I am disappointed,felt cheated .
