I bought this for my husband for a birthday gift. He absolutely loved it. What impressed us was the quality of the material - it's very well made and sturdy. Everything fits compactly together and is great to take camping. Highly recommend. Good quality for the price.

Ok, I’m 6’2” and some of the tools I’ve seen like unlike this one are just too short for me. Even on my knees digging would be a chore. I really like the length of the shovel and how it can be used to make a longer handle for the axe as well. The is a really great set up with lots of camping uses. A shovel, an axe, teeth for sawing small limbs, a blade for chopping or scraping, a compass in the handle (leather strap), a hammer, a screw driver, a blade that can be secured in the handle and a compartmented pouch that holds all the pieces. I’ve always liked James Bond’s cool gadgets and this is a really practical bag of tools that reminds me of 007 spy gadgets. Super product that feels sturdy from a seller who showed great customer service by getting the product shipped right away and professional contact by email to verify I received and happy with it. If you have a go back or camper this is something you will want to have with you.

Ok so just received this item. Bearly got it together and had issues. But thankfully the issues are with only one piece; the knife. First off plastic threads? Really?!?! Also wasn't threaded correctly and everytime I tried to thread it, it would cross-thread at an angle. I eventually got tired of being careful and had to essentially create my own threads and got it in there straight. Now because I had to cross thread it it's basically one piece, I don't trust putting pliers on it to un-thread it. That is because, yup you guessed it plastic!! So now it's slightly too big for the pouch. Which will eventually wear through the pouch with its very blunt tip. Yup not even a point. I am astonished at how well put together the rest of this is and you guys went, not my job, all on that knife. The rest again seems legit. Light, will be using this week to test durability, everything else with metal threads goes in beautifly feels good to hold. Please for the love of God redesign the knife. Thanks

Durable, lightweight and affordable

I got this kit for my emergency bag. Arrived in one day. Comes with everything pictured. Fits in the supplied bag pretty well. Shovel is made of steel and pretty sturdy. Axe is smaller than I thought, more of a hatchet size but I'm not complaining. Both the shovel and axe have pretty sharp edges to them. Other items are made pretty well. Supplied knife is sharp on both edges (Blade and fish scaler). Compass actually points north. Only issue I have is my kit didnt come with a flat head screwdriver tip but I did receive the Phillip's head adapter as far as I can tell. Flint seems pretty sturdy and sparks like it should. Overall pretty glad I got this kit. Maybe one day it will save my life in an emergency situation.
