Exo TerraCompact Top, Fluoresent Terrarium Canopy Cover 30 X 9 X 15 Cm

I am so sick of amazon sending me goods without a uk plug, this has a two pin plug that frankly I am sick to death of seeing, I live in the uk, I ordered this in the uk, I expect it to be fitted with a uk safe three pin bloody plug!It doesn't even come with a adaptor so your left either digging one out of a drawer which luckily I could or spending more to get a bloody adaptor.I am fairly certain that it is against the law to sell electrical goods for the uk market without a uk fused plug I will have to check but you would expect a PLUG of all things to be standard fare!

Does not come with the correct plug!!! I even read all the details to make sure it was the right one. So I wouldn't buy again. We had imminent arrival of our new pet so couldn't go through the hassle of trying to get it changed or returning it. Have to use it with an adaptor but the slightest touch makes it go off!

Wanted to add artificial light to my nano tall for my jumping spider and this did the trick perfectly. Obviously fits well and looks great. Need to monitor humidity as air flow may be restricted but the canopy does have some vent holes. Luckily I already had a daylight bulb by exo-terra because they cost more than the canopy!

This item is pretty much the best way to provide a diurnal setup for your 30cm wide Exo Terra terraria.It's a fairly well made product, only takes one bulb so you may need to still heat the enclosure via a heat mat, or just think carefully about which sized bulb you want to use.. Personally, I'm using a single daylight bulb rigged to a dimming thermostat set to a specific temp for the basking area, and this is on a timer, with a heat mat providing a lower ambient temperature which stays on all the time (via another thermostat) - Your mileage may vary depending on your own needs (also, it's entirely possible to get one higher-end thermostat to control both heat sources!)

I too have just had my canopy delivered today & as above NO PLUG just 2 pin plug so you need to buy an adaptor , also has the exo terra is close to the wall you simply cannot plug this into the adaptor & with the pin plug being bulky it will be no good has it takes up too much room behind the terrarium ( it is in a small area ) , so it will going back , I will say I also had another exo terra canopy delivered 2 weeks ago & that did have a uk plug ( have a couple of terrariums & that one is a bigger canopy )I just wish that the description stated that it is not a uk plug then I would not have bothered to order it ( unless Amazon are not being told when they buy it from their supplier ) !!!
